I agree that they should both start, possibly have Toure for the Spurs game too to start whipping in crosses at them I wouldn’t mind keeping him in principle, but if a £20m bid comes in for someone with 1 year on their contract, it’s either extend the contract or sell really…

I was impressed enough with the rest of the game that that was of less concern to me, particularly as the penalty was unfortunately justified At least it’s a +1 in comparison of last season’s results and these

I would have assumed that Wilock might be sold? Between him, Big Joe, Ramsey, Bamba, Steur, Lewis Miley, Even Younger Miley, possibly Nico G too - a fair few players to juggle in those areas! I’m guessing the cup game tomorrow will give a clearer idea of who the “b team” players might be

Of all of our recent robberies, probably the least gutting one. Unfortunately it’s an “umpire’s call” penalty, but 1 point more than the fixture last season and some positive signs of things to come

I’m pleased the manager got him off when the equaliser came, but hopefully a bit more ruthlessness in future. Hopefully he can get better in time for the Spurs game

One last Strictly on one of my favourite periods of Who? With three smart guests and also Joe Ford for some reason? Will naming my favourite Hartnell story do me any favours? I had pounding sinus pain while recording this, but risked it all defending some 60s tat alongside some 70s and 80s tat…

INTERSTELLAR SONG CONTEST - Too much talking, not enough singing. The viewpoint of this episode is incredibly misjudged, particularly in the current moment - this is made worse by the fact that we don’t see any of the genocide or it’s impact, or the viewpoints of any civilians that AREN’T psychotic…

… written by one of the Showrunners - it’s refreshing for RTD to set out his themes, find a writer whose work suits that and then largely clear out of their way and let them work! The other customers could get more to do, but The Doctor is placed front and centre in a refreshing change of pace

THE STORY & THE ENGINE - Is it my favourite of the era? No, but it’s probably the one that belongs to this era the most. A charming tale about stories and the power of this community, one that means so much to THIS Doctor. Inua Ellams delivers the most individually authored script of New Who not…

THE ROBOT REVOLUTION - The weakest opener of all New Who? Varada Sethu is fantastic and nails every aspect of her character here, and I like the retrofuturism aesthetic and The Doctor’s counting gimmick is fun. But the incel stuff is pretty crammed in and feels like it’s one of several First Draft…
