One of the snippets of code below was written by me, the other was written by AI evoked by me. Can you tell which is which? Is one obviously better or clearer than the other?
A snippet of code that reads:

// Draw a stroke onto this canvas in the parameter range [u0, u1)
// Caller is responsible for making sure that both u values are in the correct range and u1 > u0
public void Draw(PaintStroke stroke, float u0, float u1) {
	float uStep = 1.0f / (stroke.PathLength * Size); // pixels?
	PaintStroke.Walker walker = new(stroke);
	var brush = stroke.Brush;
	var colour = stroke.Colour;

	int u0i = Mathf.FloorToInt(u0 / uStep);
	int u1i = Mathf.FloorToInt(u1 / uStep);
	walker.AdvanceTo(u0i * uStep);
	for (int ui = u0i; ui < u1i; ++ui) {
		(var pos, var _, var width) = walker.At(ui * uStep);
		brush.Draw(this, pos * Size, width * Size, colour);
	}
}Another snippet of code, it reads:

// Draws the stroke so far, ending at the cursor (if it's over the view)
public void Draw(Control overlay, Vector2? cursor)
{
	var view = _view.View;
	var drawn = _placed.Select(view.ToScreen).ToList();
	if (cursor is { } at && (drawn.Count == 0 || drawn[^1].DistanceTo(at) >= SamePointPixels))
		drawn.Add(at);

	if (drawn.Count >= 2) {
		var points = StrokeShape.WithEndHandles(drawn.ConvertAll(p => new StrokePoint(p, 0.0f)));
		var line = new List<Vector2>();
		for (int segment = 1; segment <= points.Count - 3; ++segment) {
			for (int i = segment == 1 ? 0 : 1; i <= PreviewSteps; ++i)
				line.Add(StrokeShape.Position(points, segment, i / (float)PreviewSteps));
		}
		var colour = PaintPalette.Colours.GetValueOrDefault(_view.Choice.Colour, EditorView.HandleColour) with { A = 0.6f };
		float width = Mathf.Max(1.0f, _view.BrushScale(_view.Choice.Brush) * view.Side);
		overlay.DrawPolyline([.. line], colour, width, true);
		overlay.DrawPolyline([.. line], EditorView.HandleColour, 1.0f, true);
	}

	foreach (var point in _placed)
		overlay.DrawCircle(view.ToScreen(point), PointRadius, EditorView.HandleColour, true, -1.0f, true);
}

There doesn't seem to be a properly formatted link to the demo page on your main page? Normally I see something like the first of these images but yours just has in on the right bar?

This is the passage from his blog (substack.com/home/post/p-...)
Frankly, my contextual view of verbal meaning extends even to the ‘n’ word taboo. Anticipating the dishonest twisting of what I am about to say, let me state clearly and loudly, so that no one in good faith can doubt it, that I object thoroughly to the racist use of the word ‘nigger’ to disparage people with non-white skins. That is always and everywhere morally wrong.

Nonetheless, I was appalled years ago, when I read of a woman high up in some British organisation—a nursing one, I think—being sacked just for referring explicitly to the original title of Agatha Christie’s 1939 detective novel, Ten Little Niggers. And I have read of similar cases more recently. That people should be so punished is stupidly unjust. For, to use the word ‘nigger’ just to refer to what someone else has written or said in no way endorses the racist disdain usually attached to it. That’s obvious—at least to anyone who dares to think.

To be all weeelll actuallley about it: we'd be able to reconstruct it pretty accurately because fossils aren't just bones and the tail would leave a clear trace, like the feathers of Archaeopteryx
Photo of the fossil of Archaeopteryx lithographica. The bones are still in their rock substrate and the individual feathers can be seen arranged around them.

Consultant child psychiatrist Dr Emily Sehmer told BBC Breakfast she considered the dangers of excessive social media usage to be "much, much worse" than smoking as it took just "seconds" for a child to be exposed to damaging harmful content.

Reading his full quote, I don't see much contradiction
Text of quote from Starmer: "The way I see it is this: we inherited a really bad Brexit deal that Boris Johnson has negotiated. It was a botched deal. It doesn’t work for businesses, doesn’t work for the country.

What I’ve done in two years is to completely reset our relations with our EU partners, to already have improved on that deal, which is what I did last year.

This year we have another summit with the EU, where we’re going to take a really important leap forward in terms of the relationship, bring us closer to Europe. It’s really good for businesses, really good for some of the businesses in this room, really good for the country.

So that’s what I intend to do, not get lost in a debate about what may happen years down the line."

This is a genuinely wild bit of code. The rest of it looks mostly sane, although it's kind of funny how it decides to comment 'age' but none of the other variables. I wonder why it did that? And whether there's any meaningful answer to that question.
Snippet of code shows definitions for placeable objects, all but one is just an array of points. The one for pulsar is, instead, calling a lambda function which returns an array of points. The function adds exactly nothing but complexity.

You'd have thought a journalist would have spent two seconds looking at photos from Mandelson's time with Epstein before repeating such claims

This graph is the evidence for their claim, specifically the orange bit they've extrapolated from the little blue lines. Does that look like a reasonable extrapolation to you? It doesn't to me. It looks to me like all the longer blue lines show tail off in weight regain.
Graph from the paper showing measured gain data and then their modelled extrapolation from it which appears to have assumed a linear trend line is valid. Most of the real data lines terminate before 18 weeks, just three go to 52 weeks, they've extrapolated out to a return after 70-something weeks but none of the three data lines follow the same path, with all three showing a clear fall in rate of regain. IMO, a non-linear, trend would be more appropriate.

In justifying her horrendous, Tommy Robinson pleasing, asylum plans Mahmood claims "while asylum claims fall across Europe, they are rising here". Here's the facts behind that claim. Look at that graph. The UK doesn't take many asylum seekers compared to other countries in Europe. 1/
Graph shows asylum claim numbers in the UK and selected EU from March '21 to March '25. The graph shows UK claims significantly lower than Germany, Spain, France, and Italy. It also shows how Germany experienced a large wave of claims between March '23 and March '25.

Did they flounder as the party of Covid-skepticism? I don't see much evidence of that in the polling over that period:

Did they get AI to write this or just take a shit tonne of hallucinogenic drugs?
Text taken from the Searchlight Institute website it says: The Searchlight Institute exists to disrupt the dominant paradigm of smallness, purity, and fear. We will bring big policy ideas to a political milieu that has grown accustomed to thinking small. We will break down the ideological barriers that have imposed rigidity and separated us from our neighbors. And we will bring clarity to a data environment polluted by misinformation.

Another paper says this (reference [4] there is the paper above), so it looks like it is called W because the creators of Maple thought it was called omega and there's no omega on the keyboard. The idea it was called omega I can't source. From: www.researchgate.net/publication/...
Text reads: Notation: The letter W is now a standard notation for this function, following early Maple usage. In [4] we proposed to call this Lambert's W function, because Lambert set the first problem which required W for its solution, and because Euler attributed the series with which he solved the problem to Lambert. In [3], it is also called the `omega' function, because there is a persistent rumor that there are papers which use the greek letter ω for this function. If any readers of this article can provide a reference for this notation, please inform us by e-mail to rcorless@uwo.ca.

Note: the symbol ω is visually similar to the letter W.

The classic paper "The Lambert W says:
We use the letter W for this function, following early Maple usage. We propose to call it the Lambert W function, because it is the logarithm of a special case (β = α = −1) of Lambert’s series (1.2). Fortuitously, the letter W has additional significance because of the pioneering work on many aspects of W by E. M. Wright [69,70,71,72]. In [14], the function is also called the Omega function.

The video comparison to other drivers is stark but I guess the problem is that a 20kph lift has been considered enough in previous double yellow situations, e.g. Qatar last year, so how much should he have slowed exactly? The "greatly reduced speed" from article 44.1 seems more clearly breached.
Telemetry data from Qatar 2024 where Norris was given a penalty but Sainz wasn't despite only dropping 20kph.

The major justification given in parliament - hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2025... - was that during the Thale protest they "caused panic among staff, who feared for their safety as pyrotechnics and smoke bombs were thrown into the area to which they were evacuating". I found a photo
Image of Palestine Action protest at the Thale factory. They are on the roof setting off the kind of smoke flares commonly used in football stadiums. Thale staff can be seen casually walking past and standing nonchalantly around in the evacuation area in front of the building.

She makes it sound so nice and reasonable. And if they hadn't collectively shattered any and all impression of acting in good faith then it might even be believable.
Exert from the Cass Review, it reads "Recommendation 2:

Clinicians should apply the assessment framework developed by the Review’s Clinical Expert Group, to ensure children/young people referred to NHS gender services receive a holistic assessment of their needs to inform an individualised care plan. This should include screening for neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, and a mental health assessment.

The framework should be kept under review and evolve to reflect emerging evidence."
