I'm loving it so far. Playing Avowed feels a bit like a warm hug. It's new, but weirdly familiar.

Doom: The Dark Ages seems absolutely insane. 15th of May release means an INSANE first half of the year for Xbox. #xboxdirect

id know what they're doing with the soundtrack, too. Even for this showcase it absolutely bangs!

One of my all time favourites, taking me back to days where I could just get home from school and enjoy gaming with the boys. www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2NV...

I need to start to ween off of X and move to @bsky.app fully. I am happy to see that a load of subreddits on reddit.com are blocking x/twitter and meta affiliated links. We do not need scum like Elon Musk.

No joke, I got a Beyblade as a bit of a laugh and throwback to being a kid. It has been well used already and my cat loves it 😂

Looks amazing, hope it serves you well!

Merry Christmas to this little corner of the internet. I hope you've all got plenty of gifts and have time to spend with those you love and cherish. And play games, obviously. #MerryChristmas

I do and get a nostalgia hit every time. Walking around Toys'R'us as a kid was magical, especially near Christmas!

It's Christmas in 6 days. I am not ready. Mistakes have been made!

Star Wars Skeleton Crew is shaping up to be a great series imo. So much mystery and intrigue surrounding At Attin - it's killing me waiting to find out more! 😅

Can't beat a lazy day!

Star Wars Skeleton Crew is pretty good. First two episodes set the story up pretty nicely.

The weirdos that do nothing but complain online would complain if someone handed them a $100 bill. It's a sad existence.

Have absolutely no idea what I want for Christmas this year... Think I may have waited too late to have a proper think!

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

If I’m scrolling the Video Games feed, I don’t want to see half naked people. I want to see video games. Tagging your half naked selfie with “video games” to get it into the feed is perverse. This place does not need to become twitter.

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

I thought I was being spotted too easily! Maybe I’ll wait for some patches to fix it up a little first

I’ve never played a Stalker game before and wow, Stalker 2 is HARD! I got absolutely demolished during the tutorial level

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Enjoy! It’s a charming little game and really well done imo!

Articuno EX is absolutely carrying my water deck at the minute! It’s the only deck I have any confidence in 😭

010

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

My darkness deck is SO weak. Keep failing my solo battle and get the popup recommending a darkness deck… whilst I’m using a darkness deck 🥲

The Nidoqueen card 🥹

I've been playing Genshin Impact, which is pretty fun. I think it's a mega long game though... Donut County is a pretty fun, short little game on Game Pass though.

Took me ages to pick up using my PS5 controller and I was never 'good' with it. I think it's cos I grew up on Xbox I'm so used to the stick placement the PS5 controller just throws me off 😂

They're great little sets. Think I'm after the Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull & VCARB sets. Love that they've got custom helmet molds too.

Woke up to all this snow in Yorkshire this morning... but then it's just rained all day and we're at a nice toasty 12c now! Basically summer!

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Haven't played on mobile, but if you're looking to start it and then pick up on Xbox I know you can use the same account. It was hugely successful on mobile so I'd guess it's worth it.

Enzo Maresca has surprised me this season so far. Great position to be in at this time of year. #KTBFFH

The XSX will take Blu Ray, yeah. There's a digital only XSX that has no disc drive however. Worth having a look around during the Black Friday offers though!

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Not sure how Leicester have escaped with two yellows for those two challenges there. Not a surprise when they're playing Chelsea, though.

000

J @jack0rias.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I'd go with an X if you can afford it comfortably and you're looking for better performance and will be playing on a 4K TV. If you're on a 1080p/1440p monitor or 1080p TV then the Series S would be a fantastic buy.

Debating jumping back in now they've removed the forced stealth stuff. Was kinda enjoying the first planet but I absolutely hated forced stealth.
