Nothing -- even George Bush's $350 billion "Star Wars" missile defense system - could have prevented Tuesday's attack, and it cost next to nothing to pull off. Fewer than 20 unarmed Suicide soldiers from some apparently primitive country somewhere on the other side of the world took out the World Trade Center and half the Pentagon with three quick and costless strikes on one day. The efficiency of it was terrifying.

We are going to punish somebody for this attack, but just who or what will be blown to smithereens for it is hard to say. Maybe Afghanistan, maybe Pakistan or Iraq, or possibly all three at once. Who knows? Not even the Generals in what remains of the Pentagon or the New York papers calling for WAR seem to know who did it or where to look for them.

The title song, in which a woman admonishes her boyfriend for passing judgment on her previous sexual encounters even though he is guilty of the same behavior, was regarded as something of a daring statement to make at the time. It was written by Parton in response to her husband's questioning (and subsequent reaction) if she'd ever been with a man before him.

"The Bridge", distinctive because of its subject matter and rather abrupt ending, details the story of a woman

Changes to Accessories and Paired Devices

When you set Gemini as your mobile device assistant, it also becomes the assistant on devices that are paired with your mobile phone. This includes:

🔸Watches running Wear OS

🔸Headphones or earbuds compatible with Gemini

compatible with Gemini

🔸Vehicles running Android Auto projected from a user's mobile device. For cars with Google built-in, Google Assistant will continue to function beyond September 4, 2026.

Like your mobile device, starting September 4, users will lose the ability to use Google Assistant on these paired devices.

Google Assistant on Other Devices

These changes are only for the assistant experience on your mobile device and accessories that pair to your phone, like watches, headphones, and car infotainment systems.

I was busy when the pics of Cap's Codpiece from Marvel Rivals went around and, not being a PVP player, hadn't looked at the other art until it popped up on my Steam page today. I know Rob said he wouldn't work with Marvel again, but are we suuuuure?

I mean, like, this sounds hella uncomfortable for my 5'1" self, much less any kids. Although kids tiny asses would fit much better in that narrow seat, I suppose. (ADA for comparison. I'm amused that the accidental duplication is of the thing the DSA benches got right.)

The DSA's benches are 48 inches long, 31.5 inches tall, and the seating is roughly 13.25 inches deep.

"Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, bus benches must be at least 42 inches long and between 20 to 24 inches deep. The top of the bench seat must measure between 17 and 19 inches above the ground or floor space and must include back support, also at least 42 inches long."

I've highlighted the two instances of "42 inches long".

There are people out here finding whole packs of siblings via Ancestry DNA tests because we refuse to regulate fertility doctors who like to swap in their own sperm for funsies. And y'all are worried about people who share 3.125% of their DNA?

'Second cousin' definition

A second cousin is someone who shares the same great-grandparents as you but not the same grandparents. In other words, your parents and your second cousin's parents are first cousins.

How are second cousins related?

Kinship terminology can be confusing. It's easiest to understand when broken down in simple terms.

Put clearly:

You and your second cousin both descend from the same set of great-grandparents.

• Your grandparent and their grandparent were siblings.

• Your parent and their parent are first cousins.
