I've had the strangest most heartbreaking week in which I reconnected with my very long-lost brother and filed for my estranged father’s death certificate on my deceased mother’s birthday. Life is wild.

Everything is so dark and heavy but I just had my last infusion after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. I won’t miss the infusion center, but I’m grateful for the kind nurses who took such good care of me. Onward. 🩵

Wow Eileen, this was fantastic. I'd say you got it right because I'm ordering and adding to my TBR pile. Fellow empath spawned from trauma who was emancipated (and moved out to live alone) at 15. Great review and looking forward to this book.
