not sure, im gonna take it to another place that at least does free diagnostics, so hopefully that gives me more options to go forward with, but i really can’t afford a new laptop at all

naw it shows the windows logo for a few seconds and then completely shuts off. Occasionally it’ll show the windows logo with “starting auto repair” underneath it for a flash before shutting off again.

and now it won’t even boot or enter BIOS. He told me I should just get a new laptop X__X It was like 2000 dollars and only 2 years old

it’s a surface laptop studio that i saved up for, so i could do animation away from my desk. I got it fixed once before where they replaced the battery, and that worked for a while up until a month ago. I saw a different guy this last time and all he did was update the software and look on reddit

i was outside with my laptop a couple months ago, sitting at a table with an umbrella. There was a big gust of wind and the umbrella flew out, and knocked my laptop into… my lap, lol. after that happened it kept on saying the battery was dead, and wouldn’t stay on unless it was plugged in.
