The thing is, Jacob Geller is very VERY unlikely to be executed. It works as hyperbole. Telling trans people to “Enjoy the camps” does not, as concentration camps are springing up all over the US. Saying Jacob should get off scot free? That’s already happening, and saying that gives it permission.

I’ve never seen it explained so eloquently before, but I think this is a big reason on why “All men are the same” is socially acceptable to say and “All women are the same” isn’t. Due to power dynamics, one is obviously more harmful. Took me forever to understand that when I was younger.

Yeah I just double checked it. The guy who made it seems like an ally, but I think a lot of the bloat comes from the fourth point, people who liked posts about the article. I could see people doing that absentmindedly without looking into it. There are other blocklists that seem to have more vetting
