Trump coping is betting big on the latter - I've been told by several neighbors they're sure there's a massive wave of uncounted voters who will turn out to keep congress from removing their 'lawfully elected president' (a phrase that comes up every time some new Trump transgression is revealed)

The love it or hate it response *is* wild. Saw it with a few people and everyone was really divided about it. I was kinda in the middle - I liked it, and I thought about it afterwards, but I think some of the complaints (especially the nuts and bolts structural, not content, complaints) are valid.

They want regulations which will give them antitrust waivers to jointly "coordinate" AI development under the guise of safety (ie., form a legally allowed monopoly). Controlling prices and supply + barring competition (esp. China) is worth more than any government could take from Altman, et al.

My mother is out near Colby and, yeah, farmers are big mad (Tariffs + Diesel + being talked down to). Most are "sick of it, not voting any of these assholes" instead of voting Democrat, but that works too. Nice to see the home state competitive (though my mother hates all the ads that brings...)
