This episode had me wondering if the creators were taking inspiration from a certain other role-playing game. #tmnt

Donatello and Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 cartoon examine the rubble of an attack in trenchcoats. Donatello holds up a blasted piece of debris, saying, "Look, a mini-missile."

From the same episode, the "Destructor X" robot enters an apartment, looking like a muscle-bound robot where one arm and leg are skeletal and the other two are muscular, it has a masked skull face, spiked shoulder, and a large storage tank on its back.

The "Destructor X" opens its chest to reveal a large cannon that basically fills its entire torso, and says, "Commencing destruction sequence."

What Facebook is like now:

Also, Mutants in the Now and both Mutants in the Mini have had their main digital copies updated to incorporate the changes from Mutants in the Ooops! Next is in the works to be updated for its reprint, and Pet Shop Blues only has a few notes, so those have to rely on Ooops! for the time being.

There was an issue with the most recent digital version of Mutants in the Next (arachnid-free version) still being infested! I got a quick fix now up (on @itch.io, @drivethrurpg.com, @rpgtrader.bsky.social, and Bits and Mortar) until the larger upcoming revision, so it's now safe from spiders.

Seen on the road. Is this that bipartisanship I've heard so much about? It's been so long that I don't remember what it was like.

I was hoping there might be a glimpse of the rules for "Teeth" but it turns out it's a repurposed vintage copy of a "Man From UNCLE" card game.

A man picks up a card game box that says, "TEETH" and has an anthropomorphic tooth giving a thumbs-up, from the Apple streaming show "Widows Bay".

The card came can be opened but nothing is inside except a pair of pliers. A glimpse of rules can be seen in the interior of the lid.
