The only way I can make it consistent is if the last para is just about terminology, ie she'd prefer the word 'sex' to mean sex assigned at birth in all contexts. But if it were just about how we use language, why all the fuss and getting the law changed etc.

I've rarely had such low engagement as my post yesterday about my short film crowdfunder. Genuine Q: Is Bluesky just not the place for that? Or was it because we were all sad about Dolly? Or [other]? Tbf it's not a Good Cause aside from supporting UK comedy and a new female director. Thoughts?
