I’ll be the first to admit to being a filthy #Apple apologist but even I can’t defend the xOS 26 updates. Everything is so buggy and some of the design choices are just plain bad. In all my years working there / being in the ecosystem I have never genuinely disliked a redesign / new major version.

some days I’m still in awe at how incredibly powerful modern tech is for creatives. I get there’s a lot of complex issues around IT these days. but being able to shoot on my DSLR, upload and edit the photos right from my phone-iPad and post them / share them in a few mins is incredible

I think America in general deserves criticism and scrutiny for what’s happening here. but I also hope the rest of the world is willing to recognize that many of us are trying to do what we can to resist this insanity Not all of us are brainwashed. I recognize sadly that enough of us are. Too many

I’m a ChatGPT user but I absolutely think there is merit to these findings. I found myself over relying on it, and so I’ve had to hold myself accountable to take a step back and use it purely as an advanced search engine and not get lazy. Like any tool I think it’s all about moderation

When I left grad school to take care of my dying father, the expansion of Medicaid allowed me to get medical care (including mental health care for grief, after he passed) during that time. I could not have fulfilled a work requirement. And I was in a better position than most Medicaid recipients.

Doing some research for a blog I'm writing and … it really bothers me that this study includes the estimated loss of productivity in monetary value due to #depression and #anxiety. It just feels icky to put a price tag on mental health like that? Maybe I’m missing the point #mentalhealth
