The great circle for FRA-YVR does not go this far north AFAIK, it only goes ‘slightly’ north of BGSF. Today’s flight went far more north. In fact its route took the 747 east of Iceland. It does happen occasionally that they go this far north, depending on various factors incl winds, capacity etc,…

Today’s Lufthansa flight LH492 FRA-YVR is taking quite the northerly route over the Atlantic Ocean. Current latitute is 76 degrees north. If skies were clear, I’m pretty sure at least some passengers enjoyed great views while enroute over Greenland 🇩🇪🛫🇬🇱🛬🇨🇦 #avgeek #flightradar24 #lufthansa

Earlier this week I spotted Lufthansa’s special 100th Anniversary Airbus A380 enroute from MUC to BOS but clouds got in the way. Few days ago I had more luck when it showed up again, this time operating Lufthansa flight LH414 MUC-IAD. The return flight diverted to SNN. #lufthansa #a380 #avgeek

Gustaph zei het deze ochtend heel treffend in De Ochtend op Radio 1: “Als je aan tafel blijft zitten, maar eigenlijk gewoon wegkijkt en de agressor ook aan dezelfde tafel laat zitten, dan moet je eigenlijk opstaan en vertrekken.” En dat had de VRT nu ook moeten doen.

My very first encounter with a Lufthansa 100th Anniversary Livery. Depicted here is Airbus A380-841 D-AIMH operating flight LH424 MUC-BOS. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for these ones in the coming months, as winter is now approaching (better light and much better seeing conditions).

De service was daar echt wel perfect. Een uur ofzo advies gekregen over een op maat gemaakte PC voor flight simming. Hun kennis was echt onbetaalbaar. En nóg langer terug in de tijd komen we uit bij HCW, Het Computerwinkeltje 🤓💾

Wow! The Icelandair / Aviationtag Hekla Aurora edition is completely sold out for now. The upcycling company will try to restock as soon as possible and advises to sign up for notification. It’s obvious to say this is one of the most succesful Aviationtag editions ever.

In 2025 Icelandair’s retired its iconic B757 ‘Hekla Aurora’. This year it got scrapped in Spain, but fortunately Icelandair called Aviationtag for an upcycling job. Today the Aviationtag / Icelandair B757 TF-FIU original skin tag was released. More info via www.aviationtag.com/pages/icelan... 🇮🇸✈️
