Earlier this week I spotted Lufthansa’s special 100th Anniversary Airbus A380 enroute from MUC to BOS but clouds got in the way. Few days ago I had more luck when it showed up again, this time operating Lufthansa flight LH414 MUC-IAD. The return flight diverted to SNN. #lufthansa #a380 #avgeek

My very first encounter with a Lufthansa 100th Anniversary Livery. Depicted here is Airbus A380-841 D-AIMH operating flight LH424 MUC-BOS. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for these ones in the coming months, as winter is now approaching (better light and much better seeing conditions).

In 2025 Icelandair’s retired its iconic B757 ‘Hekla Aurora’. This year it got scrapped in Spain, but fortunately Icelandair called Aviationtag for an upcycling job. Today the Aviationtag / Icelandair B757 TF-FIU original skin tag was released. More info via www.aviationtag.com/pages/icelan... 🇮🇸✈️

Sad news from the Hellenic Air Force today as it appears a HAF F-4E Phantom II has crashed during its solo display at Athens Flying Week at Tanagra Air Base. According to early reports, the military jet’s two pilots did not survive. May they rest in peace 😢

AI rommel doet het blijkbaar weer heel goed dezer dagen op de socials. Zo diep intriest dat fotografen alsmaar meer in de verleiding komen om door AI gemanipuleerde foto’s te posten ‘voor de likes’. Er zijn fotografen die prachtige ‘echte’ foto’s maken maar helaas dus ook meer en meer ‘prutsers’.
