Rare piece of good news from Ukraine today. A journalist who was held incommunicado by Russia for more than three years has been released as part of the latest prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kyiv. ‘Mum, don’t cry. I’ll be home soon,’ he told his mum shortly after crossing into Ukraine.
