Crude, derogatory, misogynistic comments have no place in society, let alone at a Magic event. Construing this ban as a persecution of political belief and a 1A violation is a stupefying level of bad-faith. @cardtitan.bsky.social did the right thing. When people show you who they are, believe them.

A group of losers put together an open letter to @cardtitan.bsky.social criticizing their decision to ban Joe Brennan from Eternal Weekend this year. If you, like me, support their decision, TELL THEM. Message them, email them, show them that you support their decision to make EW safer.

I made a post on MTGO's bug forum about how the interaction that happens on MTGO is incorrect, but it's flagged as "Not a Bug". Was there a rules change or something from 3 months ago to now? Link to post: forums.mtgo.com/index.php?th...

I cast Dress Down. I Impending'd Overlord of the Balemurk. However it did not enter as a vanilla creature with no counters on it. Posted in the MTGO Discord and made a forum post already - according to Tabak's post this is a bug. I think there's something powerful here. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Finished 6-2 in the Vintage Showcase, probably top 32. Losses to deck check decks is acceptable, MWI completely pants'd me. Built the list with the idea of 2023 UB Lurrus in mind in being a combo/control U deck that leverages Sol Ring really well. Probs needs Vamp. Psychic Frog my beloved. 💕

The Legacy Showcase results have affirmed my suspicion over the years that the best thing to be doing in Legacy is to be a format + deck specialist. You should pick a deck and stick with it. Knowing the decision trees of 25+ matchups vs knowing how to play a handful of decks is infinitely better.

The things that always draw me back to Legacy, relative to other formats, is that things can be so explosive that it takes so many crisp micro-decisions and intimate format/card knowledge to pull wins out of the blue. It's the format that makes me feel the most rewarded for doing my homework.

The Shadow Discord and I have always been curious about a mono Black list, one that could potentially leverage Necrodominance. One of Delthar's recent 5-0s showcases what such a build would look like - sans the Necros.

My current decks that I'm actively working on. Standard - bUG Terror. Challenging and rewarding to get the lines right. Modern - Froculus. How could I not register one of my favorite cards? Legacy - Yorion Saga Shadownought. Attempting new ideas in the Eldrazi world we live in.

Few Shadow lists to look at and to love: 1. BeExcellent's recent list, inspired by old Marco Montani lists. Stable manabase for Delver, Eldrazi and Moon Stompy with great numbers filling it out. 2. Winner of the Sydney LES Finals. Highly aggressive and slanted towards beating up on Ancient Tomb.
