i must also share this meme my friend manufactured because i succumbed to my usual color choices even after tormenting her with alternate options

A meme depicting a man about to run over a kid; he's looking at his phone, which is displaying a plain orange screen. His rear view mirror shows his face and a cop car. A decor saying "i heart my beautiful rusty orange" is hanging from the rear view mirror.

An update on my current condition (transcript in alt text). Thanks for reading! Art is probably gonna be even rarer for a little bit. If anybody has tips that could help me deal with this please let me know!

A week ago I was admitted to the ER due to a slowly-spreading facial paralysis. Since then it has enveloped the entire left side of my face, leaving me unable to blink or speak properly, as well as severely limiting my movement in general.
They ruled out everything else so the only thing left to diagnose it as is Bell's palsy. They were also unable to tell me why it occurred or when (or whether) I would make a full recovery, and I'm not knowledgeable enough to make guesses as of right now. So far there has been no improvement, despite the meds I've been taking.
I have managed to get a month off of work (both on the account of not being able to stare at a screen for 8+ hours and having to attend physiotherapy) and I've been more or less resting. The current heat wave is making this a bit difficult but thankfully we managed to obtain a portable AC beforehand and that helped a ton.
I've managed to arrange regular visits to a physiotherapist and I'm hoping this condition will improve soon. The sessions actually cost less than I expected! A rarity!
So yeah, I've been online a little less than usual but I'm alive. Not entirely well, but alive for sure.

Characters from a project I had back on my previous account (the project is still alive... it's resting, for now) I will definitely be tweaking their markings at some point. Might even delete this. But for now, have Cerilia (in the back) and her brother Calem! #art

For those of you who wanted to see the burnt-to-shit-cringe cookies from the other day, here's a pic my boyfriend took yesterday morning

A black baking tin with baking paper on the bottom. On top of the paper are five incredibly charred cookies whose edges are touching because the dough hasn't set properly. They look inedible

I'll have you know I spaced out so bad while I was drawing this that I forgot I had cookies in the oven and they got burnt to a crisp. I hope that this brings you at least some semblance of joy because it sure as hell did not bring me any Based on Avery Palmer's "Creature on a Hill", obviously #art

A very zoomed-in, grainy photo of a kingfisher sitting on the stone slopes of a creek. The bird is only visible due to its blue coloring that's making it stand out from the rocks. There is grass growing around the rocks and up the slope, and the upper part of it is illuminated by the sun

I cast "curse of girlfriend who still thinks amogus jokes are funny" so he countered me with the "shut the fuck up" beam #art

A group of anthro animals playing a tabletop RPG. There's a cat with glasses in the right corner, closest to the viewer. He is talking to the group, and a text bubble above him says: "...several of the crewmates you've seen abovedeck are here too." On the couch behind him, a rabbit is petting a cat , and a fox and another cat are listening attentively. The other cat has two exclamation points above her head.

Two panels in which the cat from the previous image says "Oh there's crewmates? This is just like am-" only to get interrupted in the next panel, by a hand with the words "shut the fuck up" swinging down on her. She is smiling in both images and it's implied that the hand is not hurting her in any way.
