i think that’s why it’s close - reese’s versatile interior defense & physical presence are significant advantages she has over clark, but clark has a significant offensive advantage not merely in scoring and assists but in floor spacing and creating ball distribution. they’re both great.

i’ve always said it’s a problem that two of the biggest stars in the ufc are dana white and bruce buffer. again, no other sport elevates its front office over the quality of the product - teams, players, athletes, etc. yet another way they minimize the contributions and legacies of their athletes.

i would guess this is in part because talarico’s christianity manifests as biblical justice aligned with jesus’ second edict, “you shall love your neighbor as yourself,” resonates with black communities, as opposed to repulses them as the oppressive practices of typical white churches can.

i know lists are subjective rage bait but nobody mentioning the show that contained maybe the single best lead performance on tv ever, was appointment tv for all 6 of its seasons, had a finale that is still debated today and that almost singlehandedly elevated the quality of tv dramas is insane.
