I found out my healthcare wouldn't cover a hemiplegic manual wheelchair. The only thing I can get is an electric wheelchair, which doesn't satisfy my need to exercise outside and would dip into my DME funding and make it so I have to buy all of my other DME out-of-pocket for 5 years.

I saw a dumbass on shit site QT another dumbass complaining about how Revelation will let people auto-level. My dude, you know how many people used GameShark? Are you not old enough to remember that Konami, the company that made CONTRA, provided official cheat codes!? Who gives a FUCK, dude.

I played the WoW Forever beta through about 15 levels w/ 3 different chars in Teldrassil/Darkshore, Mulgore and the blue elf zones. Got to the RFC quests on Horde. When I saw that it's XIV's PF, I bounced. Thx, but I'm good. At least controller is cool, and I hope that makes it to retail soon. ♿

Sorry, but if your coverage of the Emmys doesn't also have a simple list of nominees and bolded winners, your coverage sucks.

I saw a guy rollerblading down the street a day ago and had some major 90s flashbacks. I used to blade all over the place to meet up with friends, teams, etc. It was my stand in for a bike until I started driving after high school. I miss it... even if I wouldn't be able to physically do it now.

Seeing the chat during QuestWatch makes me realize how much I don't miss the general WoW community. My old guildies? Yes, for sure, I miss them! But the broader WoW community can suck much of the time. "When's WoW?" "wth is this?" There's both a WC channel and a schedule! Yeeeeesh! #BlizzCon2026

Awww maaan! I was hoping to see him play at the game I'm going to next Tuesday. :( And he doesn't get that chance to break 100 RBIs being only 2 away!

Tuned into Blizzcon late today and am surprised to see they are playing #Daggerheart using #Overwatch as its setting. This is exactly what I was thinking for a fantasy sci-fi setting! I mean, you have Jetpack Cat, Wrecking Ball, Winston, B.O.B., etc., so it works perfectly!

"What exactly is WoW Forever?" Honestly? It seems like a company too scared to make WoW 2 properly.

There's something amusing about people who act like ASOIAF is the only fantasy series to have inspired fantasy writers in the past 15-ish years. "It's got knights, dragons and houses! You can't tell me..." Yeah, and the Welsh flag has a fucking dragon on it. Maybe read some Brythonic mythology. lol

I started a Letterboxd, but like... how do people stomach trying to add as many movies as they can remember seeing in their lifetime (especially as an elder millennial or older)?

I was talking about fandoms with someone, and I think there is a propensity for people to look at them without considering how broad the spectrums of what people do within fandoms are, and how large the number of ways people view and interact with them is. Plus I wasn't limiting it to one medium?

The existence of Magic Is the Best Medicine dissuades people from forming parties in OC (ppl want you to die so they can farm rezzes). It's not really a problem in NH, but hardly anyone invites or accepts invites in SH. It should require rezzing ppl in your own party to encourage parties. #FFXIV

As someone who has never been into Kingdom Hearts, seeing people argue about Kingdom Hearts is like watching a wrestling match in which the actual people behind the personae throw real kicks and punches because they hate each other's guts.

I don't even know what arthouse film companies to support anymore. Not that arthouse hasn't constantly shifted to corporate in cycles, or has been quietly owned by a corporate parent to begin with. Or blatantly. But the Kushners? 🤮

Outside Lands is the most accommodating event I have ever attended—golf cart rides to where you need to go (incl to/from car), expedited entry, an ADA platform, people who don't assume you can do more than you can, separate restrooms and a drink stand so you don't have to stand for 30 min, etc.

Man, this hits. I grew up with them calling games as a duo. They are one of the reasons I'm a baseball fan, especially a @sfgiants.com fan. Even through rough times. I know why he's leaving, and that's what hits me the most. He has to. But he leaves the booth in great hands. I'll miss you, Kruk.

Man, Discord needs to cool it on feature changes a little and put accessibility options front-and-center when they do things like add styles (put it in a separate popup w/o several pages of info). Especially with their penchant for moving around settings and CONSTANTLY adding settings. UX, people!
