I'm doing artfight again this year, been too lazy to make a card so here's just my profile link. Mutuals and random people feel free to attack! I mostly attack ponies and the occasional feral or simple-shaped character! artfight.net/~Starlight-Jo

Not sure why it didn’t take the thumbnail, one of my favorite in a long time, featuring art from several of the animators on the team!

The TN for the above video “MLP: Reanimated”, featuring the Mane Six in different styles and poses.

Haven't drawn anything except for commissions in ages. Idk if this is art block or depression or what but I just can't seem to pick up the tablet.

Clear example that the bigoted 4channers running Marefair and NeighCon are STILL bigoted 4channers, and I'm pissed at the some of you who bought their "cleaning up" act without them doing ANY reconciliation to earn it. Some of you are too quick to forgive because of "pony". Get fucked.

Had my first "oh god what am i doing in this field i'll never make it i'll never be able to work here" freakout but i think i'll be fine

Rain @itsraininghorses.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

Realized I never posted my second shot for #mlpreanimated ! I wanted to do a little more than to strictly follow the original clip, but I still had to work within my own limits. Her mane is also weirdly green in the last shot in this clip but it'll be fixed in the final work.

Miscellaneous artfight attacks! Been focusing more on multiple simple drawings this year. Tagging all character owners with a Bluesky! @pipimioden.bsky.social @falibat.bsky.social @shadowsnowflake.bsky.social @stupidlittlearts.bsky.social

Oh they just put my fucking art through genAi to show me what they wanted... Yeah this is it, I've been fucking nice enough already, ten dollars isn't worth it

000

Rain @itsraininghorses.bsky.social · 21/06/2025

This is your reminder not to be too nice when doing commissions. I've been dealing with this one buyer for weeks now, doing revision after revision, and they barely even fucking know what they want??? They just want things to be "cool" but nothing seems to work for them. But I'm bad at saying no.

I'd rather you just call me a slur than any of these

Not me having to watch my boss generating an ai image for their poster when our customers are artists and people interested in art... Like girl they will not enjoy this go back

My horse and her employees. I don't care that the cartoon pony show doesn't have cigarettes, it's legally required that every line cook smokes #mlp

Here's my artfight if anyone wants to attack me this year! Though I need to get off my ass and add some more characters/update the old artfight.net/~Starlight-Jo I mostly draw other people's ponies and whatever other designs I feel I'd be decent at drawing

I did the math and I literally just have to do better than four other applicants and I'll get into school. Gonna fucking suck if I don't make it though

Entrance exams tomorrow, this time I'm prepared for weird bullshit. Oh you thought you were coming to study textile design? Make a weird effigy from sticks

Rain @itsraininghorses.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

Really gross to see this kind of shit in a fandom with such beloved and talented voice actors. How fucking disrespectful do you have to be to think you're owed a distorted version of someone's performance because you like their work? #mlp

Rain @itsraininghorses.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

Did you know? This post got me accused of defending horse incest on tumblr. Even though these two characters literally aren't related and don't become part of the same family during the show. Having a weird one today

I hope all the kids who made weird little selfshipping flipaclip animations and got put into some 30-year-old sad adult's youtube cringe compilation are thriving. I love you and I hope you had so much fun.

Got a Ko-fi now, sorry :/ ko-fi.com/itsrainingho... It's just for my horse commissions, but I'll also be selling some old pony adoptable designs that I don't really use. Will be filling it up more as I get less lazy.

The furry porn posters are vital for the online art ecosystem and I'm more than happy to follow artists who draw the stuff alongside whatever I followed them for. It does however also mean I'll sometimes open Bluesky on the escalator and the guy behind me gets an eyeful of wolf peen

My takeaway from saw: - Adam has tboy swag (also stop whimpering) - Yes it's very impressive they did it on such a tiny budget and it was clearly a passion project. Yes the acting and editing is still sometimes a little funny - Jigsaw has an assassin's creed blade and that's stupid and cool

Watching saw tonight at the insistence of my online friend and also crocheting vigorously. Therapeutic
