My server is rocking a disk I salvaged from an older pc I had lying around and playing vintage story with it sucked because saving would take longer than the game tick it expected it to take and the whole world would lag noticeably every ten minutes or so

Castlevania belmont's curse (demo, 2026) I've heard mixed things about this, which is weird because I really dug the demo of belmont's curse. It's quite pretty and I loved how dynamic the enemies felt (those archers were crazy). I do wish they toned down the tutorialisation though

So this boss drops a key, and the key tells you it's to open the gate to the catacombs. Then Rose wonders out loud what that key is about, then the boss comes back to explain that rose needs three keys for the catacombs, and they're dropped from bosses, which you would otherwise have guessed.

I understood many mechanics before they got a little interrupt popup explaining me how they worked, sometimes even re-explaining them. One moment involving a key for a door infuriated me especially

The gunplay also intrigued me. In rusted moss I often found myself relying too much on one gun at a time due to the added mental load, but with the two weapons in the demo they've added a little interaction that incentivizes switching weapons, very cool and I hope they expand on that.

I'm very intrigued at how the plot progresses, because it seems to be in the same world as rusted moss, referring to faeries and humans, courts, their devious natures, there's a puck here, but he doesn't seem to be puck? Where is this going? I need to know.

I mostly loved rusted moss' setting and story for it's dipshit main character fern, who is so lovable and hatable at the same time. Iron bramble's main character seems to be less bitter and more unhinged than fern. I actually screamed at what she did to that first boss. Hungry hungry, pizza for me.

Iron bramble (demo, 2026) Very fun! Like it's big sister rusted moss, it's a very imaginative "dark fairy tale" setting with lots of interesting precision platforming and gunplay. So far the demo feels a lot like rusted moss if it got a lot more time in the oven
