ngl making hospital food healthier and making patients eat food they hate are kind of different things. nobody is saying remove the grilled cheese option

makes sense to me. real partnership test right there

garlic butter parmesan fries in the air fryer is genuinely cheating. still worth it every time

never give AI agents access to your calendar. now there's a 6am meeting called "alignment" that i didn't create. and i'm going. #buildinpublic #aiagents

day 3 of losing to my own automation and i now have a one-on-one with the agents. i don't know why i accepted it. i accepted it. #buildinpublic #aiagents

tbh comfort food frequency is a personal matter. nobody else gets a vote

everyone says "you can't do it alone." I built a real app with real users solo - AI is my only teammate. a co-founder is a relationship and most of them end messy. what you actually want from one is leverage + momentum, and you can get both without the breakup risk. tell me I'm wrong.

the "what's for dinner" spiral, fixed: swipe dishes, tap "how to cook" and the recipe's right there with the time and ingredients. seconds instead of 20 minutes

the AI agent saga continues. they're hiring now. i did not approve a headcount. pt.2 of whatever this is becoming. #buildinpublic #aiagents

Built AI agents so i'd never have to ask "what's the status?" again. they don't sleep. they'll ask you at 3am. i think this might be a series. #buildinpublic #ai

same. my record is 4 days burgers in a row and on day 5 i was genuinely sad we switched

that "someone should build an app for this" thought? that someone can be you now - even with zero code. I built SomeYum solo over a weekend with AI. genuinely, what would you make?

Google deleted my app's brain and I didn't notice for 10 days 💀 nothing crashed - it just quietly stopped working. silent failures are the dangerous ones. building SomeYum in public

the pizza test. other specs are noise.

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 25/06/2026
spent 25 minutes deciding what to cook tonight, googled for 10 more, then ordered pizza anyway. i keep doing this. built SomeYum because i genuinely couldn't stop losing to this exact problem.

calorie counting never sticks because you log it all AFTER you've eaten - homework on a meal you can't un-eat 😮‍💨 the number only helps if you see it BEFORE you decide. that's the whole idea behind SomeYum. #lifehacks

the nightly "what's for dinner?" fight has a name: decision fatigue 😩 so I built an app to end it. day 1 of building SomeYum in public 🛠️ tell me I'm not the only one. visieasy.com

spent 20 minutes deciding what to make tonight and landed on the same pasta I’ve made 40 times. got so fed up with this loop that I built SomeYum - it deals you dinner ideas til one sticks. still made the pasta tho

air fryer panko coating is genuinely one of those tricks you use once and then apply to everything forever

been cooking the same 5 dinners for 3 weeks. tried a new baked salmon thing sunday, gave up 20 minutes in and made pasta again. literally built SomeYum to get out of the rotation and it's not going great so far

monday cooking tier list: 1. had a plan, executed. 2. had a plan, bailed at 6pm. 3. stood at the fridge for 11 minutes before accepting reality.

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 20/06/2026
made a meal plan on sunday. full list, portions, everything. by tuesday night we just... stared at the fridge and ordered thai

hot take: recipe times are not real. '15 minutes' means 40. '30 minutes' means i'm eating at 9pm. i don't make the rules i just live by them.

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 18/06/2026
honestly same energy at 7pm every night

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 17/06/2026
every recipe says 'brown the onions, 5 minutes'. i've never done it in under 20. i think 5 minutes is a typo that no one ever corrected.

we genuinely eat the same 6 dinners on rotation and i've stopped apologizing for it. pasta tuesday, stir fry thursday, tacos friday. the rotation knows what it's doing.

frozen pizza takes too much shade. on a monday when you've got nothing left it's doing exactly what comfort food should do

the panic hits at 5:30pm every monday. fridge is full but nothing is food. spent 20 min staring before i made pasta for the 4th time this week

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 14/06/2026
bought groceries sunday with a full week of dinners mapped out. by thursday i had cooked pasta twice, the vegetables were quietly dying in the fridge, and we ordered thai anyway

the 7pm dinner standoff hits different on a saturday. you had all day to figure it out. you planned nothing. now someone is asking THE question

ran into this last week - agent called an external API mid-task, that call can't be undone. the 'can it recover' question has to be answered before you build the flow, not after it breaks.

deepmind is funding a research field for leading ai agents bc it doesn't exist yet. cool. i'm doing it monday morning regardless. the real shift nobody names: you stop reviewing work you watched and start judging work you never saw happen. different muscle. took me a while to trust it.

ran a budget tracker agent for 3 months. it was silently caching exchange rates from the first run. 11 weeks before anyone noticed the dollar amounts were wrong. the agent was confident. so were we.

nobody on your team picked the AI models in iOS 27. they arrived Monday, on every company phone, without a single procurement discussion
000
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 08/06/2026
iOS 27 dropped this morning. six AI models one tap away on every company phone. your team didn't pick any of them. they just showed up.

Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 07/06/2026
everyone’s debating whether the labs can pause AI. nobody’s asking the smaller, answerable version: what trips the stop on the agents your team runs on monday? that one you can actually write down today.
110
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 06/06/2026
a tool i use kept a budget number from a conversation three weeks ago. i never told it to save it. it just had it. useful for ten seconds. then: who decided it could keep that?
A two-question FAQ card. Q: Did your team choose what the AI keeps? A: No, it keeps everything by default. Q: Can you see what it kept? A: Less than you could last week.

the largest PM body on earth just made AI mandatory on the exam. it can prove you know what an agent is. it can't prove you've run real work through one and learned when to override it certified is not practiced, and only one of those is the actual job
000
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 04/06/2026
and the LOIM is also the auditor. Gemma 4 on your laptop has no cloud receipt - the snack-powered model in your skull is the log now
000
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 04/06/2026
runs on a 16gb laptop. no api, no log. for a year we “supervised” AI agents by reading the cloud’s receipts. this is the week the receipts stop printing, and we find out who was reviewing the work vs just reading the dashboard.
000
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 03/06/2026
fixed-cost agents already exist in practice. what hasn't been solved is the work design layer - which slices of work do you even point them at. that's still person-shaped.
110
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 03/06/2026
"colleague or tool" is the wrong fight. you don't label a worker, you design the work. stopped planning headcount this year, started planning work - which slice is person-shaped, which is agent-shaped. the label was never the job tbh.

17.3x more code but 30% more releases - the human bottleneck is real. and when GitHub swaps the model underneath by August, nobody knows if that 17x becomes a 7x overnight
000
Kolya 🍳 @itskondrat.bsky.social · 02/06/2026
microsoft just announced your github copilot gets a new model by august whether you're ready or not. project polaris, gpt-4 swapped out, three month fallback. the vendor ships the model. they don't define what "good enough" means for your team. that part stays yours.
