I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I made some notes to process some observations of feathered wings and thought I'd share. If it's useful to you too, I'd be glad. Not intended to be scientific or precise so take it with a grain of salt!

Yesterday got the sudden urge to begin a quick little thing for @timopatton.bsky.social featuring his Halo characters cuz why not :D (Fun fact: It’s been bizillion years since the last time I had done anything related to Halo. I also forgot the existence of the Spectre as a 4 passenger vehicle ._. )

First panel: Getchi (the Jackal) is at the top of a malfunctioning Spectre performing a cry of dominance while being observed by Yibble (the Grunt). Buoyant Enough (the Engineer) is at the rear of the Spectre, next to a column of smoke.

Second panel: Yibble yells at Getchi "Oh my gosh, Getchi! For the fifteenth time, STEP OUT OF THE SPECTRE!". Getchi then turns around and notices Buoyant Enough and Phama (the Elite) who are both at the rear of the Spectre trying to fix it. They are all in the middle of a desert.

Squirrelly bird lady poses in frame as an excuse for me to post about her again. Getchi the Jackal is GREATLY inspired by @dagger6.art and her beautiful rendition of classic Halo jackals: bsky.app/profile/dagg... I still gush over those designs. #halo #kigyar #jackal #art

No tengo claro su pecado capital principal. Podría decir perfectamente avaricia que sería un clásico debido a su relación directa con los dragones, pero no tengo algo claro ahora mismo. En cuanto a lo otro, creo que puede ser la misericordia.

· Reserved, diligent and formal young evoker. Used to think highly of his commander's resolution until everything went down. · If you're talking about him joining the Dark Talons instead of sticking with the Sundered Flame, I might be making something about that.

And, if I remade them sometime in the future, I would probably make major changes, either changing characters, the setting, animation/art style or camera position- AH, 1 AM. I better close up this thread now and finish up here before going to bed xD

For instance, I have this little animation I made back in -*checks*- 2019?! Anyways, looks neat at first, but then I notice stuff: whole action could be pushed further; the head movement has to be improved; Blitz has 1 pair of eyes instead of 2; export errors; and I can go on for a little bit more.

Its Blaster @itsblaster.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

However, I enjoy keeping these too and look them from time to time. They're a reminder of my personal growth. When the time comes, I like to observe some of my past pieces once again: to dive myself into analyzing the goods, the bads and the possible fixes for them.

Its Blaster @itsblaster.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I wish I could sit down and remake some of my old anims. (did I just make that shortening up?) cuz I do believe I have improved after all this time and watching them now I can see errors I might have not noticed in the past or have overlooked due to deadlines: wobbly lines, twinning, consistency...

Its Blaster @itsblaster.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Sunday night moment (no better time I guess ._. ): I am examinating again animation files I have saved over the years to update my animation reel... and I found this one I made back in, uh, May 2023. I have a collection of animations I want to remake/update and this one sits at the tops.

Another thing (probably last thing) is I've just noticed I'm close to 200 followers here in Bluesky. Haven't attempted in the past at other platforms, but what if I do a little art raffle if said number is achieved? 🧐

Its Blaster @itsblaster.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Anyway, been trying to make a little, short, small comic involving my dracthyr in the past, but I often get lost with different topics and ideas. So, were I to make one, what should I focus on: a silly situation, some backstory, a true-story situation, an interaction with X, or something else?
