•Press down on plunger, putting air into the vial (it prevents vacuum and lets the fluid flow) •Wait for the syringe to fill, you may have to push the plunger in to clear an air bubble. •Pull the needle out •Pull the plunger to clear the needle •switch needles to the injection needle

To draw: •Put the vial on a surface w/ the factory seal cap removed •Prep the syringe with needle •pull the plunger back to your dosage •Put the tip of the needle near the center of the rubber seal and press with firm pressure, it should penetrate fairly easily •Flip vial upside-down

The injection needle depends on your injection method, I use 27 gauge 1/2 inch needles for subcutaneous. Side note: subcutaneous and intramuscular use the same dosages, it's just preference. I really recommend doing sub-q because it's a lot easier.

You need two needles for your shot, one for drawing from the vial and one to inject. The draw needle will be a larger gauge (smaller number) generally 18-23 gauge. I like 23 because 18 tends to make the vial leak a little but 18 will be faster and less likely to bend.
