A new dragon is underway for my HarrowHyrst range….I do love making them. I’ve used Sculpey to bulk out the wire armature and all the details are being sculpted with BeesPutty polymer clay. A homage to my old s-shaped dragons for Games Workshop :-)

Fast-moving for a monstrous unit, the Giant Spined Chaos Beast is a frenzied, armour-piercing blur of slashing claws and gnashing maw. Its mass of spines cause damage to any who dare attack it, and it is capable of regenerating lost health. Such a good boy.

As for the units themselves the axe and shield gals are kinda cool but the halberd ones less so, not a fan of those weird armoured hair buns. They give Mickey Mouse ears. I don't think the colour scheme is the best either

I like the idea of an elite, all woman, dwarf unit dedicated to Valya. Feel they should have given them big braids like Hjulda. Know it's a different setting but I always liked the distinction in Fantasy/Old World where dwarf men have their beards and women their braids. #warhammercommunity

I do also like this new Seraphon model, Blessed Tetaxi, the giant terradon has a really characterful face. Tetaxi is the prophet of Tepok whose colour in Fantasy was purple. It would have been a nice nod to that if he had a purple crest but the purple feathers are a nice touch!

Not really feeling Khazalite Holds outside of the character models. I really think the Thrynn and Hjulds wouldn't look out of place in a dwarf army in Old World. I'm not enamoured with the High King I mean Kyng, gliding throne but the individual characters are cool #warhammercommunity

New Tomb Kings were definitely a highlight of the reveal show, they look excellent and it's a long overdue update. They're 8th ed models still hold up pretty well but their ancient core (getting replaced by these guys) were really showing they're age #warhammercommunity #warhammertheoldworld

Fun thing I noticed about the new Tomb King chariots: they were clearly sculpted using a real egyptian chariot as a reference, cuz you can see that they're constructed in the same way as the real life chariots, which wasn't clear on the previous models.

Don't play 40k but this crashed Thunderhawk is very cool terrain. More interesting than the same L shaped ruins everywhere. They should do more thematic terrain that tells a story like this
