Something like chatgpt, which is used for anything and everything, is suggested for use everywhere because these fucks desperately need it to replace humans in a way that makes them money. Chatgpt in place of an actual doctor is gonna get people killed. (pretty sure it already has)

its not replacing a human doctor, its supplementing a human doctor's ability to treat their patient... to find the cancer. The only people who could make actionable use of such an AI would be a doctor.

All that said I don't want AIs made to do genuinely good and highly specific things to be regulated into the dirt. Like ones that are specifically and solely developed to help doctors identify cancer cells or someshit. That is an example of a good AI. That AI getting better only benefits everyone.

Fuck i even used to be able to do that when texting on my old cellphone when i was a teenager. i could feel the buttons, i had memorized how many times i had to hit them with my fingers to get the letters i needed. i could text behind my back if i had to and not make mistakes \o/

When i'm using an actual physical keyboard i feel the actual typo when it happens cause i'll be typing, accidentally hit the wrong key and immediately fix it cause i could feel where the key is relative to the actual key i wanted to hit. \o/
