since i mentioned it, i am Very Pleased with the thal tlc not only does it look sooo much better but it has a whole (apparently "scary") ground build so i can fully commit to my primarily terrestrial playstyle i like to do with flyers, much more confidently than on hatz diff subs but old v new thal

old art but between the thalassodromeus tlc in path of titans (extremely good) and the mh wilds update i am yet again thinking about flying wyverns based on/inspired by pterosaurs. they should do that it would be sick

other locales t arks sometimes look pretty dark in certain lighting conditions, but in direct lighting you can tell they're white) that last point being said though, even in direct sunlight that would make it white anywhere else, they're still pretty obviously Black; i'm sure that's just a bug +

110

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

oh yeah i should post this here for those of you who play wilds, here's my hunter profile card + hunter id! feel free to add me if you want, i'm always down to play with others<3 blocked out are my hunting log records widgets bc monster spoilers lmao

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

started the sketch base for the lines to do chaotic gore pebbles' other side and wanted to see how it'd look so i did a quick mockup to see, then a comparison thing for the wings bc they add a lot of size to him

054

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

calling this done for now bc i do Not feel like agonizing over shading and whatnot, so! artibazel design finished<3 ( i still don't know what to tags #rainworld, #monsterhunter, #rainworldart, #MHart, #rwartificer, #rainworlddownpour )

0124

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

my artibazel design is coming along well i'm not entirely satisfied with how the fur along her back looks but i can finish it the rest of the way down then duplicate the layer and fix the parts that need it

001

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

god i can't wait until wilds comes out so i can finally play with everyone You. if you have the capability to play wilds You Should Try It we could play together and i could teach you how to monhun! you'll love it i promise

the player mount, a feathered raptor creature (that runs/gallops on all fours at top speed! and it can glide!!) called a seikret, and the Hoard of baby seikrets in the village! yes there are baby seikrets yes they're tiny little puffballs yes they're every bit as ridiculous (affectionate) as you'd expect they are god's (capcom's) greatest creation and i say wilds goty 2025 already for them alone. fun fact you can knock/kick them over, in Two (2) different ways! they even have their own tiny stupid looking knockdown flailing animation when you do!

rey dau! not sure what weapon is being used here, looks like maybe greatsword? everybody loves raymond<3

one of the small pack hunting monsters, these guys will actually group attack large monsters sometimes, with multiple individuals jumping and latching onto it which it then has to shake/grab/etc off of itself

endemic life! i forget exactly what they're called; they're little frog birds!

011

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

at least artibazel looks okay thus far, i feel like the silhouette looks bazel-y enough

110

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

i still want to try my hand at a monster hunter phylogenetic tree eventually mainly because the raptors, or "runner" bird wyverns, feel to me like they're not really "true" bird wyverns but rather a smaller offshoot of brute wyverns pictured here: great jaggi, anjanath, quematrice, kulu ya ku

050

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

bonus shara content: their """mortal guise""" i need to draw them again.... and/or digital draw them

031

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

i should write and/or draw five pebbles and naasfilrah interacting naas is one of the reasons i ended up writing pebbles bc god they're so similar they'd petty beef at each other for a bit at first before realizing oh wait we're actually kind of 🤝 huh bitter, grumpy, tired gods with Emotional Issues

041

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

an assortment of Choices for you something nice about myself hmmm, i'd like to think i'm pretty decent at portraying the characters i write, keeping faithful to their characterization/personality/etc and expanding upon it also having stuff that deviates from the norm! i take pride in it

120

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

listening to kulve taroth's theme medley both reminds me that i need to draw shimmering golden chimes more and yet again makes me wish i knew how to do music compositions/covers in specific styles so i could do a random gods/reflections of the moon style version of kulve's theme leitmotif for them

031

martini 🏳️‍⚧️ @iteratingdragons.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

demon in the corner that looks kind of like a guy (scug) but his proportions are all too long and his face is all wrong and his eyes are too big/wide and he's too skinny...... yeah other scugs are often pretty offput by spearmaster at first
