Maybe this isn't an original thought but would it be fair to say there's no more 'Left' or 'Right'? It seems to me that it's the political class and the voter. They speak with forked tongue and we play our part in the game by continually voting for more bullshit. Are they to blame or are we?

As an ex-SNP member trying to conduct a respectful dialogue with some of those that are left is near impossible. They go straight to abuse then block as if they occupy some moral high ground. Beware hubris, simply because your party is flying high today. A single election can change everything.

Govan Cross market back in 2011 when all I had was a wee digital 'point and shoot' camera. The market has long gone and the area has been transformed by new housing builds and landscaping. Little by little, bit by bit, Govan is changing.

That's the latest pot of chili on the go. The smell of garlic, onions and spices is beginning to waft through the hoose. It's not a standard chili. It wouldn't pass muster in a Mexican restaurant. However, bonus points for having Mission Mega Wraps and some Lebanese flatbreads on standby. 😉

It's 2024. The Govan Graving Docks here in Glasgow is no longer accessible. There are plans for housing and bringing at least one of the docks back into use. In the distance is the barque 'Glenlee' and the Transport Museum. Lens used, Super-Takumar 50mm f1.4. #Glasgow #Govan
