Right now I cant even afford to catch a cold because my nose cant drain properly 🥲 Thats fun...

Italian Pitbull Artworks @italopbartworks.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

rearrange appointments and go with nose needs help first. In another month I have my new ENT appointment where we talk about the extent of surgery required. Id like to be able to breathe again 😅 Worse yet, I caught some kind of virus and because of the nose issues, it turned into a sinus infection

Im also battling out that last collapsing disc in my lumbar spine. My new insurance JUST got put into effect this month so its a scramble to make appointments. I need to go back on the nerve blockers until Im settled enough to do the next fusion. As bad as that is, the nose is worse so I had to

Sorry for the silence. Ive been busy with a lot. My free time has been largely consumed by medical appointments 😅 It couldnt be just a simple broken nose. It had to be a disaster of a broken nose.

Sorry for the lack of art this year 😅 Its been chaos. Updates: My three broken pieces in my nose will NOT fuse together as they should, so I had MORE appointments to do. It needs specialty reconstructive surgery now 🥲 I've been doing lots of photography but Im behind w) uploads to that profile too 😭

So initial nose surgery was cancelled. I had to switch hospitals. Good thing I did cuz its apparently more messed up than the first place said it was 🥲 I need to see a second surgeon now

The Disney renaissance movies used to look different. They were planned to be printed on 35 mm film -- that's how they were first released. Modern editions skip that last step in the process. It was a highly developed, overlooked craft, as we explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/disneys-fi...

It was only an hour long set and was worth attending. My face is paying for it the day after, though. All the bouncing/jumping and the vibrations of the bass rattled the fractures. Thankfully I didnt create a new nose bleed 🥲 but Im pretty much banned from all my fun for this year

Ever since I got punched and my nose shattered, I havent been back to the beach :( I could go waist deep I suppose but I cant have any water hit me in the face or go up my nose, so sadly my surf season was abruptly ended. I kept my concert tickets for Vini Vici and said screw it Im going regardless.

Oh boy. Surgery next week already?! Time flew. The fractured pieces of my nose are still free floating and still hurt. Not much has changed. This Wed will be week 3. I have to take 7-10 days off from work though 😭 I can use that time on art if anyone wants sketches or badges. Oh and RIP surf season

Yes. Scheduled in a few weeks. Theres a weird time window for these things. You cant do it immediately or else you break the bones more, but you also cant do it too late or else you have to wait a whole year, let it fuse, then have bone surgically cut & moved.

People like us? We have lives. We have friends. We are not glued to our phones or internet 24-7. We buy things because we want to/because we like it. We dont have to live for some strangers approval or 10 seconds of attention. So pay them no mind. Pretty art be damned block & move on. Theyre leeches

110 0

Italian Pitbull Artworks @italopbartworks.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Youre talking about people who dont make real friends and have real memorable experiences. They live in a constant state of anxiety and they "have to" be popular/get chronic attention from populars to feel like they exist. Without it, the anxiety is crushing. They will do ANYTHING for that attention

Italian Pitbull Artworks @italopbartworks.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Remember, the interwebs and fandoms are like middle school/high school: Some people are genuinely here because they want to be and are trying to make something of the experience. Others join for the popularity contest/clique circles/clout/status. Whats SAD is that they live thru parasocial relations

Its been one week now. Much less puffy and SOMETIMES I can breathe from my nose, but I only get one side. The other has no airflow. The side that has airflow is still not enough to use 24-7 so most of the time its still mouth breathing

One last appointment and then I should be cleared for nose surgery 🥲 Its broken into three large pieces and will have to be manipulated back into alignment. My septum has to be reattached and a few other things. Nose packed & braced afterwards 😭 It could be worse but its still REALLY bad....

Trying to rush to figure out how to pay for medical transit after surgery on top of paying for rent etc 🙃 I hope that stupid kid that punched me gets a reality check by needing to be hospitalized at some point. Let him learn the hard way since his kind doesnt fear police or jail 🔥

I packed up my stuff, changed clothes back to casuals and got lucky to not have to wait practically at all for the ferry back to my neighborhood. Grabbed some apples on my walk back from the pier and took my dizzy meds when I got home. No real improvement. ENT followup tomorrow 😭

Italian Pitbull Artworks @italopbartworks.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

about a good ten min thinking oh itll pass, its been doing this all week. Well, jokes on me, it didnt and every step I took made me feel more out of it. I informed my managers and they didnt wait for me to ask, they said I didnt look good & needed to go home so I dont fall- genuinely concerned.

The saga continues. I wole up today and felt normal. After two hours into my shift, I suddenly got the dizzy disorienting feeling (disequilibrium) extremely strong and nausea. Thankfully I was leaned up against a counter and just talking a short break between tasks when it hit. I rode it out for

I need to secure at least $50 to cover my transit costs to get to work and back home until pay day next Friday. I cant legally drop my full color/shaded prices any lower so it would be multiple sketches (one commission OR multiple buyers). If ordered this weekend, I can have them done on Monday.
