ahhh, i see. tbh i haven't moved any of my local library to my phone yet, but then i mostly listen to audiobooks and stuff like that on the go now and mainly listen to music when I'm sitting at my desktop at home

interesting, I'm in an album swap club where we get assigned to recommend an album to another person in the group every week and I've been buying most of them and haven't had that issues with the FLAC files, so it definitely sounds like a compression thing

Good luck when your $1200 1tb PS6 can only have 1.5 games installed because every modern AAA game takes up extreme amounts of storage for the 30 seasons of battlepass you have to pay for separately

In fact, i can't imagine a world where current prices lead to any console being cheaper for the customer than a disc drive console with less storage that relies on data being on the disc. Even if games needed 3-4+ discs.

[Insert Video Game Company] will never do anything because it is beneficial to you, btw. If you think not having a disc drive will somehow make the ps6 cheaper then you're mistaken. It was only cheaper on the ps5 to incentivize you to give up physical media faster so they can make more money off you
