I could sit here, crying, moaning and pissing into the wind about it. All I can really do is deal with it and try not to let anything slip past me, and I'm starting to lose that fight. I want to create, but that drive is lost in this haze calling me to drink and hide again, and I can't let it win.

The biggest difficulty I've had with my story is me. I've been depressed to a point where I'll get home and stare at the wall until I need to go to bed. It eats away at me, because a friend, my editor, pushed me to do it after talking about it for years. Depression has been eating at me.

What kills me about having writers block is where I left off in my drafts. He's just sitting in a holding cell wondering about what's going to happen next. I wonder if people have passing thoughts like that, unfinished drafts being stalled in time, in universe. I'll get back to it soon, I hope.

Night-Runners' private alpha is infuriating. I don't know why they fucked up the AI with such drastic rubber banding. It'll absolutely kill the game on release if the AI continues to work like that. Absolutely heartbreaking with how on point the anemoic past vibes are.

I read the other day that time seems to speed up as you get older, because you get used to doing the same thing again and again. I built a gun rack, it felt like forever, but only took an hour. It was nice. I'm on some medication and feel better. I have chapters to release. This week. Hopefully.

I spent the last few days playing through Dark Interval's Part 2 and Raising the Bar Redux's Division 3 updates. It was nice to go back to playing some kind of Source mod after so long, and very fascinating to see two different interpretations of mostly the same source material.

Kind of a shock finding out they were a sociopath trying to play every woman in a friend group against each other, unsuccessfully. But it was really funny that the group sat down and figured everything out in about 3 hours. All it took to undo years worth of effort, lmao

I'm still writing my story, but something happened in the last couple of months that made me uncomfortable. One of my characters was kind of based off of a not-friend-anymore, and its kind of hard to disassociate that character, because they were based on my perception of them.
