The magic of dropping biscuit batter into the top of your soup about 15 minutes before you plan to eat is underrated

Anyone else have outdoor slippers? Not real shoes, but cozy slippers-ons for running the rubbish to the curb or taking the pup out back in the middle of the night. To be replaced with your clean indoor slippers when you come back inside.

#WIPWednesday I’m knitting up a linen cami. Since I accidentally cast on too many stitches at the front, it became a ruffle. 🧶

You've inherited a movie theater, what's your first double feature? We're gonna drop my two favorite Shakespeare adaptations of all time ROMEO + JULIET (1996) and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (1993)
The inestimable Harold Perrineau delivers the finest performance of Mercutio ever captured on film, here caught dancing in fabulous drag at the masquerade The breathtaking cast of Much Ado About Nothing artfully posing on set. Left to right, by rows:
Top row: Keanu Reaves as a dashing Don John
Second row: disheveled Michael Keaton as Dogberry, Robert Sean Leonard as Claudio, and on the far right Denzel Washington as a devestatingly debonair Don Pedro
Third row: an absolutely adorable Kate Beckinsale as Hero and a charming Kenneth Branaugh as Benedict (He also directed)
Front row: the inestimable Emma Thompson as Beatrice

I keep seeing reports of non-AI users being told that an AI detector has dubbed their work AI generated, and it makes me insane because: 1) AI detection tools *are themselves AI* and thus entirely bullshit; and 2) if an AI was trained on your works, of COURSE it’ll flag you as sounding “like” AI!
