A wooden desk organizer has 3 compartments filled with various markers and pens, as well as a dwarf fighter and a rabbit. A small compartment holds paper clips, postit flags, and a yellow highlighter.

It's been rainy and cool this weekend so I decided to make soup. I managed to use up several things from the pantry.

A bowl of thick soup with beans, pasta shells, tomatoes, peas, carrots, onion, and vegetarian ground beef. Alongside is a piece of sandwich bread. Goat cheese and red wine round out the meal.

I took a bunch of fabric bins over to the new place. I'd like to move more but the cleaning crew isn't coming until the 12th. There's nowhere to put stuff. Sure, I could clean the floors myself. But it's the principal. It should have been clean when I took possession.

Every time Sidekick Mech asks about his monthly report, that task gets lowered in priority. He used to be first. Now he's last, and working his way down the list of other tasks. I get a stack of daily maintenance logs from each building. I scan & upload. He files them after I scan.

My new house number is completely different from my previous ones. First house was 204. Second was 205. Apartment, 204. And I changed 3 zip code numbers, not just 2. I'm going to be confused for ages. At least I've had the same phone number since 1991.

I scolded a tech via email yesterday about a missing receipt. Turns out, he had actually sent it in. My scolding is still valid. He often "forgets" to send receipts and reports. Let's see if he submits the correct form with his monthly reports this time. 5 months in a row, he's sent the wrong one.

Reminder: if you use an asterisk or other character in place of a letter, it doesn't get filtered by muted word lists. For example, if you put "d*gs" then mute lists don't recognize it as "dogs" and will show it to people who have that word muted.

I had a house dream during my nap that was very unlike my others (not frequent but recurring). There wasn't a water feature, no creepy basement filled with shelves of empty jars covered in cobwebs, and it had no connection to my mother. Gotta tell you, those dreams are freaky. But this wasn't.
