Yes! We’re not supposed to plug it in for a few hours because liquid components should settle after transport, but it’s here. Potentially not the best ever brand, and it doesn’t match the freezer but as long as it keeps things cool I’m happy.

The freezer is thankfully a separate appliance that’s still functional

I think the food loss is manageable, though I may have to poor out some dairy. And I’m miffed I may have to toss the cheese that was supposed to be the protein for our dinners this weekend. We’re trying to keep the food viable by keeping it on the balcony with ice packs

Having a day here as we discovered this morning that our fridge had stopped working over night. We are now waiting to find out if the landlord’s handyman will find us a new one that fits before the weekend

I like it! At my work, we just the other week opened a new building with care wards, and in the lobby it has a giant abstract textile sculpture hanging from the ceiling. Done with weaving in orange and purple wool. People have so many opinions on it!
