Here's my take on SM:BND. You won't need as many Kleenex as you did for No Way Home. There was a few "in the feels" moments. Some parts made me really laugh. Enough call-backs to high school Peter to make me happy. And enough holes filled and threads left hanging for a MCU outing.

Per the DTH: "NC House & Senate leaders...have come to an agreement." It includes a 3% "average" raise for state employees (& a $1750 bonus for employees under $65k/yr and $1k for over $65k). Also "none of these raises will be retroactive & would take effect when the budget it passed."

Ran across a still from Sebastian Stan's forthcoming movie, Fjord, and man, that makeup job. Holy Cow. He looks like Alton Brown. No release date yet, but it's in post-production. Anyway, I still need to finish (after tracking down where they're streaming) some of his early works.

Reading a fanfic where Darcy is sent to 1942 Brooklyn. The author keeps talking about how Bucky and Steve think she's in her underwear bc she's in mid-thigh shorts. He's also thinking he's never seen lipstick that red. Uh. See example of shorts from the 40s and 40s lipstick. It's 1940s not 1840s 🙄

This episode of What Now with Trevor Noah really hit me in the feels. He & his guest talked on grief/loss... Denise loved #TrevorNoah so it not only hits on verbalizing grief but I know she herself would've resonated with his take. Some days I miss my sister more than others. Today's one of those.
