Shifu had a part on for how Tai Lung turned out... But he wasn't the one telling him to lash out in anger. Heck, Po COULD had also lash out in anger. He was invested in Kung Fu, but stuck in a restaurant with his step father expecting him to be the next owner. Yet, he never let out his anger

Without realizing that just giving him praise and rewards wasn't going to make him a good protector of the Valley. He only corrupted what was inside of Tai. In the same manner, he wanted Po to leave by constantly mistreating him, hoping he would just give up and leave. But Po took it as a challange.

How is that the fault of the Valley, the people who he senselessly attacked out of anger? The soilders protecting the prison, who he definitely MURDERED. Or of Po? Who he tried to kill just to get the scroll? Justifying their actions takes away from the lesson that these characters are trying to

I see WAY too many people justify characters like Tai Lung or Symdrome for their actions due to their backstories and motivations. Focusing on Tai Lung specifically, yes, he was feed promises by Shifu and given no restrain over his expectations.

Shower(Half sleep actually thoughts): No, you can't make a Villan who is "is right". A Villan is the refexion of evil in humanity, they can have understandable reasons for their actions, but if they are "doing the right thing", you are writting an Antagonist, not a Villan.
