Such a thrill for us to pay kids for their artistic labors.
Let's teach them their work has value.

![[PHONY]
We are collecting reviews and criticism of nonexistent works of Mormon art. These could be novels (example), movies (example), paintings, installations, drama, impromptu mid-sacrament meeting roadshow revivials, drone displays, poetry, or literally any other work of Mormon art you can imagine.
(Note: although those two examples are about nonexistent works by real people, your artist need not be “real.” She could be a 19th-century midwife avenger or anyone you like, real or imagined.)
Deadline: July 1, 2026.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:sbtnkewc62t2n4wy7rn7ak74/bafkreiftrgyfbp5r4ht6k4wv2o6vmcshofpqubmitzpe5pffuolcvpssoe)
![[TEMPLE]
I’ve been thinking about a pair of Isaac James Richards poems (“Sin” and “Daily Initiations“) that engage with the temple in interesting and new ways. And realizing I’d like to see more of that. Thus: a temple-themed issue. Poetry, essay, fiction, video, music, comics—whatever medium you like. Tell us about the temple. Explore its grounds and hallways. Explore the souls of those who worship there—or perhaps are left outside.
Note that Irreantum respects sensitivities people have about the temples and our editorial decisions will be influenced by this. However, we would rather you submit work both honest and true. We can negotiate boundaries later.
