After seeing all the high review scores yesterday, I’m definitely gonna set aside some time to check out The Blood of Dawnwalker this month. Seems sick. But yeah I just got back from Gamescom to find this package at my door, thank you Bandai and Rebel Wolves!

The Duskbloods I played for the full 16 hours of the network test, won 80% of my matches easy to see why it won’t be for everyone, but it’s surprisingly fun and clever with its game design I have pages of notes, but I’ll reserve sharing all my thoughts for the full release

not sure how many people noticed this, but the FAQ page on The Duskbloods website confirms that you can play with friends in the full game I originally assumed it would only be a solo, free-for-all type of game, but very happy to learn I might've been wrong

Also the number of times I got “oh what Iron Pineapple? I watch your videos!” was very surprising and fun like yeah I expect a few people to maybe know me, but not the Turok, Star Wars, and Sega people very new experience for me!

just finished up SGF and all the hands on Play Days stuff. Pretty much my first time attending an event like this. I had so much fun and it was so awesome getting to talk with devs face to face. Really appreciate everyone that made time to chat with me about their games, and very humbled by it all

Iron Pineapple @ironpineapple.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

LOL this was the one weapon I just hardly bothered with for the entire game

Iron Pineapple @ironpineapple.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I'll very likely talk about it in a future video, but Mina the Hollower is brilliant and basically a must-play just a masterclass of game design from start to finish and arguably the all time best when it comes to games inspired by old-school, top-down Zelda games
