If you don't follow me on Insta, I went on a roadtrip last month to see family, friends and the Icefields Parkway! But it was cut short by a collision with a moose on an Albertan highway. I'm OK. But still stressed from that and a lot of other stuff. Which is the reason for my lack of art 💔

Hell-hound (Predators 2010 movie) in the form of some dragon-horse-monster cause. The Predator franchise has a vice grip on me rn 🫠 Pen on paper, coloured in CSP #ironkelpieart #dragon #monster #alien #art #predator #pendrawing #clipstudiopaint

Drawing in pen, coloured in a digital program. A unique monster with leather-less small dragon wings, a short muscular tail, legs of a horse, and the small feet of a dog. It has two rows of very long spikes facing forward on its neck, with smaller spikes facing to the rear on its back. It had a pair of long spikes facing forward from the sides of its neck. It has a long face with an exposed mandible, teeth and gums. The colour is a blue-green, with pale brown scales.

Closeup of the monster showing details of its chest, neck and head.

The original art piece, just the drawing in pen. No colour.

Listening to the viral 'jet blue holiday' meme reminds me seeing contest ads on TV to win a trip to like, Disneyland back when I was a kid. I didn't like seeing those commercials cause they limit it to a family of 4...We were a family of 5. Ngl, still ticks me off a bit 🤣

Colour tomorrow, if I've got time. Glad it's a holiday, but I'm helping my sis move. #ironkelpieart #predator #monster #pendrawing #art #alien #traditionalart

Photo of a drawing done in pen of a unique horse-like alien inspired by the hell-hounds from Predators (2010). The monster has long thin legs, a body shape similar to a horse. It has a short tail like a dinosaur. It has long spikes along its spine and sides of its neck. It has extremely bony, tiny wings. Its face is full of teeth and no lips.

Predator hell-hound inspired horse-dragon-monster-thing in the works #ironkelpieart #art #drawing #predator #traditionalart #pen

Photo of a drawing of a horse-like beast. It is inspired by the hellhounds from the movie Predators (2010). It also has bony wings. The drawing is in pencil, with some pen work in progress. Unfinished.

Some Naycht and Yautja. Naycht are a closed species I made, and part of one of my projects. #art #predator #yautja #alien #originalcharacter #ironkelpieart

Photo of a few quick sketches done in pen. One in the corner is a small landscape of a hilly mesa. Two of the other drawings are headshots of a closed personal species called Naycht. Long head with spaced out flat teeth, two rows of multiple eyes, and a horn above its nose. No hair. Two of the other drawings of a Predator/Yautja OC. He has a longer, narrower skull.

My OCs Grits (back) and Turbulence (front). Turbulence is a new OC for me, but her design has been around for a few years. Drawn on paper, coloured in CSP. #art #ironkelpieart #traditionalart #digitalart #mixedmedia #pendrawing #alien #creature #dragon #clipstudiopaint #originalcharacter

Digitally coloured illustration of Grits and Turbulence. Grits is tan-brown in colour, and his mask is grey. The crests on his neck are grey-blue. Turbulence is a vivid purple, her beak fading to blue on the ends. Her horns are also vivid purple. She has a patch of yellow by her eyes that goes down to her top exposed teeth. The underside of her neck is also yellow.

Drawing in black pen of two unique creatures, headshots. The one in the back has a long mask that covers the top half of his head, and covers his eyes. He has his mouth open, revealing a long forked tongue and large teeth. He has the ears of a horse, and two pairs of fins jutting from his cheeks. He has no scales. Three large metal bolts are embedded in his neck, each at the base of a large crest. The second creature has three sets of eyes, and a massive beak of sorts. She has a few pairs of exposed teeth with no lips covering them. Several blunt horns jut from her cheeks in varying sizes. She has a few scales, and large plates down the back of her neck.

Squeezing this quick #Pride sketch in, 30 mins before June is over. Featuring my two gay shapeshifting OC's, Talengazen and Tomo. 💙 #art #dragon #originalcharacters #ironkelpieart #sketch #gay

Sketch of two dragons. One is pale tan, with a brown crest of fur and four brown horns. He as a small goatee of brown hair. His eyes are red. He's pushing up against the neck of another dragon with his front paws in a frustrated gesture, while looking at the other dragon with an exhasperated but loving look. The other dragon is red with a yellow belly. He has four long horns, all red. He has blue gums in his mouth. He is wearing a very happy expression, with closed eyes, and is nuzzling the other dragon under the chin with his head.

Finally finished this today! Not super happy with the colours though. I might change her colour scheme completely at some point. Not vibeing with it as I was a decade ago. #ironkelpieart #art #dragonart #dragon #feathers #clipstudiopaint

Drawing of a maroon, yellow, and purple dragon. She has a massive rack of horns, on which are engraved several glowing blue runes. She has no eyes. Her wings are where her back legs should be, and they are feathered and large. She has a pair of muscled front legs with short claws. Her mouth is open, revealing lots of needle-like teeth and a very long tongue.

The dragon but without colour, just solid grey under the lines and black shading.

28 years on this planet now. Here's to hoping for a good few more of being a gremlin. 🎉

Photo of an ocean bay with mountains in the background. The sky is a mix of sun and cloud. There is a small island with a tiny lighthouse on the left side. The nose of a yellow kayak is visible in the bottom half of the image.

Old photo of a bunch of kids surrounding and sitting on a big old log on a ocean beach. Focus is on a young kid in a squat, with blonde hair, wearing faded overalls, a pale blue tee, and a pale blue baseball cap turned backwards. It's the artist. Being an absolute goof. Things never change.

Photo of a person in the distance in orange coveralls and a black hoodie, standing right between two massive piles of sand and imitating the "I am the sand guardian" Vine.

Dating apps suck. The amount of ghosting is maddening. Just be respectful and tell me you're no longer interested. 😒

Evelyn and Sanya/Jackal. Still fleshing them out, especially Jackal. He's turning out to be a more complex character than I originally intended. 😭 #ironkelpieart #projectrue #art #originalcharacter #pencil #drawing #oc

Photo of a drawing of two people, drawn in pencil. Both wearing fantasy-style clothing. The woman is walking while tying her hair into a ponytail. The man is walking beside her, clutching two books to his chest with his left arm. His shirt is short-sleeved, exposing scars down his arms. There are more scars on his chest, neck, and face. He looks like he's saying something to the woman. Both of their expressions are relaxed.

Not sure if this one will come to fruition, like many other ideas... #projectrue #ironkelpieart #art #sketch

Digital drawing, done roughly and loosely. It is unfinished. Solid red background. The male figure is sketched out in rough-textured black, running forwards while clutching his monsterous masked head. There are two pairs of floating arms underneath his normal arms.

Here's my latest dragon painting. I'd really love to paint more, but my spare time has been very limited lately. I'm probably going to post a lot of doodles from my latest sketchbook though, because those I have plenty.

I can't fucking stand my dad's political views. It's honestly sad how entrenched he's gotten into right-wing politics. I've given up discussing with him because he won't admit he's wrong when I prove him wrong (and for a few other reasons). Can't wait till I can afford an apartment and leave 🙃

Happy #transdayofvisibility! Realising I was trans-nonbinary has honestly changed my life for the better, despite the many challenges; and I am unendingly grateful for the support of my friends IRL and online. We are here, and will always be here no matter what life throws at us. 💪

Portrait of a dragon done in pencil. It has many scales, and wears a large stone-like mask over its face. The mask has a large blade-like horn sticking out like a unicorn.

Drawing of a commissioner's OC. The dragon is covered in fur. Its mouth is open, revealing a blue tongue and gums. It has four horns and long ears. The fur is coloured light and dark brown.

Drawing in pen of a dragon bust. It has scales going down its spine, forehead, and cheeks. Two horns curl up and backwards. It is coloured with grey markers.

Digital drawing of a red and brown dragon bust. Its head has a very large shield-like crest, similar to a triceratops. Two horns stick out of its cheeks, and attached to the ends are small blue streamers.

Getting Janus ready for the season 🔥 I want to draw my bike as a dragon sometime soon, that could be a fun little project.

Photo of a naked style motorcycle. It is painted red, and the seat has been removed to access the battery. It is parked in a garage.
