About an hour from the end, my girlfriend whispered if I wanted to go home and finish Andor instead. I said no. One of the wrongest things I've ever done.

My interview with Alan Jones about his new book Discomania, a wildly entertaining slab of a book detailing his adventurous life as a punk on the disco floor, all while becoming one of the most beloved and bracingly honest genre film critics at the same time.

Catching up on reviews after Glasgow FrightFest so what better way to start than with #Mickey17 ? Bong Joon Ho's satirical sci-fi clone caper that features Robert Pattinson(s) with funny accents, Mark Ruffalo as a hellish amalgamation of Trump and Musk and cute aliens? Good times! #filmsky

Feels strange to think I first saw this at a packed out midnight screening at the long gone Glasgow Odeon on a school night a quarter of a century ago. Anyway, here's my review for the stellar, and revelatory, reissue from Second Sight.
