NI is considerably more ready for reintegration into the rest of Ireland than the DDR was to the rest of Germany. DDR had a centrally planned economy, Communist dictatorship with little political, economic or social interaction with the rest of Germany. These circumstances don't apply to Ireland.

No, the Orange Order's latest position merely exposes that the march is unacceptable. Their sole objective has been exposed in this latest position. They simply want to score a perceived victory and triumphalise over the residents. There is a suitable alternative route available.
