Foxglove likes to write on his phone while flopping over chairs and couches in weird positions, which baffles Iris. Iris writes with informational/gaming YouTube videos on, which baffles Foxglove.

Reached a self-imposed deadline and immediately got a thousand ideas for OTHER projects we COULD be working on, but vigilantly stayed on track. Erect a statue in honor of Foxglove’s self-restraint specifically, as he did NOT pitch five new stories before 6:00am.

The AI “marketing” spam emails we get are highkey always hilariously insulting. They’re like, “your books are WITHERING IN OBSCURITY, no one will EVER READ THEM,” but because it’s AI, they repeat themselves about two dozen times.

Was riding my bike to work and had the scare of a lifetime when a woman walking two borzoi emerged from the darkness under a flickering streetlight. I’m sure that they are very nice, goofy dogs, but I nearly jumped out of my skin because my brain could not register what I was seeing at first.

Collaboratively, the easiest part is connected to the trickiest part of writing. When we’re both in the same place, walking around excitedly while we work out the plot or untangle a scene one of us is stuck on, a point comes when everything starts moving in the right direction. I love that part.

Foxglove is well known for having beef with some of CS Lewis’ works/opinions (he was a man of contradictions and I get that, but also, fight me in a Denny’s parking lot over the end of That Hideous Strength, Jack) but the Magician’s Nephew becoming a rock opera is not an issue whatsoever.

Writing about fictional siblings, and I don’t know how universal this experience is… I have been called a nerd by my sibs more than once, only for them to turn around and say the nerdiest fucking thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Our relationship brings out the giant weird dorks we secretly are.

Look man, I love writing the setup for this romance. I love the themes of grief and generational trauma. I love that one of the MCs was raised by an actual demon (the dad who stepped UP). But I honestly can’t wait for the part where we get to put a muzzle on this hot wyvern-rider.

PREORDERS AVAILABLE NOW! 🪾THE WITCH OF THE WOOD🏚️ 📖Novella 🖤MM Fantasy Romance 💀Breaking a Curse 🪾A Spooky Forest ❤️‍🔥Fast Burn 🏚️A Search for a Witch 😟Nervous x Confident 🍂 Coming October 6, 2026 Universal: books2read.com/u/bw6gwP Itch: applesncinnamon.itch.io/the-witch-of...

The cover of The Witch of the Wood by Alex Larkspur. It features two men in a dark and gloomy forest. Milo stands in front, a man with tan skin and short, dark hair. He’s dressed in a cream tunic and a green cloak around his shoulders. He has a bow and arrows. He is clearly afraid as he stares at his left hand. His fingers are blackened due a curse that is spreading across his hand. Another man, Cam, is turned the other way and holding Milo’s right hand. He’s looking over his shoulder and looking at Milo with concern. His clothes are bright, colorful, and patchwork. The gloom of the forest mutes their color. The trees seem to close in around them.

Unhinged AO3 tags with the following tweets:

Improbable Quantities of Sex

rubs hands together menacingly

what is the opposite of slowburn? because that's what these two have going on

In between the text is an image by artist Lionheart of a man with red hair kneeling before a seated man with pale violet/silver hair. The redhead has a collar around his neck, while the other man is dressed in purple with a finger to the redhead’s mouth.

Unhinged AO3 tags
Face****ing To Assert Dominance

A b*llet wound can be a metaphor for love

both of these men need therapy, and i'm not gonna give it to them just yet
