Dear rest of the world, If you want to know why the US elected Trump given all the things you know about him, the reason is that America has tens of millions of people as ignorant as this. We just aren't a very smart country as a whole. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Since the 1970s, public education in the US has faced sustained pressure: funding shifts, teacher pay erosion, privatization, rising college costs, and student debt. The cumulative effect has been a slow chipping away at public education, resulting in the shameful state we are in. It's infuriating.

I saw a triple (or is it a quadruple?) rainbow! I’ve never seen a “Y” rainbow before. Photo taken in southeast Alaska.

A view of the sea and islands in cloudy weather. A bright double rainbow with “Y” angled arms stretches from the water to the sky.

I was just listening to a podcast about this. The guest was Jennifer Brier, author of Infectious Ideas: U.S. Political Responses to the AIDS Crisis. Samples from a teen ager who died in 1969 were tested in the late '80's and HIV was found.

I'm not sure, but here is my memory of it. Twitter used to have verified users who got a blue check mark to show the account was legit. Then they went to having people pay for the verified blue check mark logo. I have an extension that shows if someone paid.

I checked twitter and it is there. Interesting choice to post on one and not the other. I feel dirty after logging into that hellscape. Wish the grateful duck was not used for her profile.

You know the Tina Turner song, Private Dancer? Well, replace “dancer” with “hoodlum”. That’s my ear worm after reading this post. 🎵🎤 I’m your private hoodlum! I do what you want me to do 💃🎶

I cannot find words to adequately describe the horror I feel watching this. Please know that I am praying. Please know that there are many who care.

#Cagefest started in Eugene, OR on 6/7! The Cage bunting is up and proud (tbh, it's never taken down)

Three glorious images of Nicolas Cage printed on large sheets decorate the balcony of an apartment building.

It sounds like this person's gut is giving advice. The older I get, the more I trust my gut.

My father was in the chemical corps of the US Army during Vietnam. They tested on beagles. My Mom and him lived in the same housing as the veterinarians. She said it was awful : (

I'm also from the KC suburbs. We would deliver flower bouquets to neighbors on May Day. Thanks for triggering a happy memory!

The right clothes can do wonders, our eyes are easily tricked. Confidence is the most effective accessory, in my opinion.

On the plus side, maybe there were less crowds after the peak.

Hot damn! These guys know how to put on a show ❤️ Many thanks, @dogsinapile.band #dogsinapile #kalamazoo

A psychedelic light show of greens and blues is streaming towards the viewer with a crowd basking in the glow. The silhouette of a musicians baseball hat is seen on stage.

Yep! Not today, amoeba. I think it's wild that a stomach can handle it but the sinuses can't.

This product has brought me so much relief. Be sure to use distilled or sanitized (boiled) water!

A bottle for positive pressure sinus rinsing and medical grade salt packets.

Thank you for writing this. I sent a link to my Mom who lives in KS. She said that she has not heard about this and checked local news and could not find anything about it. I appreciate you and your work!

Feeling grateful to have your insight and perspective all of these years. I especially love the art examples. I am often at a loss for words when processing this awful war and art fills that space. Will continue to send big love. Glory to Ukraine!/Slava Ukraini!/Слава Україні!

Thank you, I fully support this choice (unless you have an Epstein survivor as a guest (or a different category of guest to highlight the wrongs of this administration)). These are outrageous times, normalcy should not be part of the response.
