most people want a quick and simple answer to why AI systems encode/exacerbate societal and historical bias/injustice and due to the reductive but common thinking of "bias in, bias out," the obvious culprit often is training data but this is not entirely true 1/

in the past month i have transformed my relationship with poetry as a medium, i've found that through it, i can expose more of my spirit particularly as a person who has a bad habit of intellectualizing my feelings, it offers space to pour out my soul
