Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Well then. Back to work! We have a lot to do. Happy Independence Day, Ukraine 🇺🇦 090
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Later over coffee, I noticed a sign: “The next 35 [and hundreds more] years begin with what we do today.” 1101
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026At @dzygaspaw.com, that has meant over $700K in drones, 100+ EW systems, 200+ Starlinks, and more, already delivered this year, funded by people in 65 countries who decided Ukraine's defense was their responsibility too. Thank you to all who stand by our side. 151
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Our soldiers carry that every day, at the highest cost. The rest of us get to carry the easier part of it. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026So today, independence is no longer a dream to pursue. It is a responsibility to defend the state, restore our internationally recognized borders, and build a country worth living in for generations to come. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Today, we are living the independence that generations before us fought for, and our task is to make sure we don’t lose it. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Before today, Ukrainians made several attempts to build their own state, from the Ukrainian People’s Republic in 1917 and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic in 1918 to Carpathian Ukraine in 1939. None of them lasted long, but each was a powerful step in the long struggle for Ukrainian statehood 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I feel incredibly lucky to have been born in an independent Ukraine. When I look at our history, 35 years is both a very long time for me personally, given that I’m 26, and a very short time for a country. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I have to admit I didn’t pay as much attention to Independence Day in the past as I do now. When something feels like a given, you don’t think about its value quite as much. However, when there is a clear and significant risk of losing it, you start to understand and appreciate it much more deeply. 150
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 24/08/2026This Independence Day morning, I woke up in Kyiv, a capital that was expected to fall in 3 days. Went for a morning run and to Maidan Nezalezhnosti to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers. This was how I wanted to start the day, living freely and thanking the people who are keeping our independence. 1122
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026And if you want to experience the real thing, visit Ukraine. Our next event is in Lviv this July. Come meet the soldiers fighting at the front. Come see what your support actually does. Ping me for more details about the event 😊 051
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026But the best part was the conversations afterward: finally hugging people who've donated to us since 2022, meeting the faces behind the names I've seen in our system for years. Thank you for coming 🫂 160
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026After the panel, I gave a short speech about @dzygaspaw.com and together we raised a couple thousand dollars toward Vampire heavy bomber drones for the Khartiia Corps in Kupiansk. 130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026The discussion was very honest: panelists shared what it's like to build defense companies under fire: their motivation, the speed & the feedback loops that don't exist anywhere else. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Over 70 people registered with just 3 days' notice. Honestly, sometimes organizing events outside Ukraine feels easier than at home :D so many of our supporters are abroad, and they show up!! 130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026Together with Earthrise Ventures and the Consulate General of Ukraine in SF, we brought Ukrainian defense tech founders, my classmates, who came to the US for just a few weeks before heading back to Ukraine -- for a panel, Dzyga's Paw presentation, and networking with the SF tech & VC community. 330
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 15/06/2026When I found out I'd be in California for my studies at Stanford GSB, I thought it would be cool to meet some of our @dzygaspaw.com donors whom I've never met in person. A coffee, maybe a small gathering. That small gathering turned into a full defense tech evening! 🧵 160
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 20/05/2026Great to know there are some friends of Ukraine here! 🇺🇦🇺🇸 1120

Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 23/01/2026@dzygaspaw.com has already delivered over $5 million in drones, Starlinks & more to the front lines. Our mission isn't just supplying gear. We're winning hearts and minds, showing the world that the most impactful way to support Ukraine is by supporting our Defence Forces! 100
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 23/01/2026You can help deliver life-saving tech to the Ukrainian defenders in just ONE MINUTE! Dzyga's Paw (us 😎) was shortlisted for the 2026 Award from DOU, Ukraine's biggest IT community. We need your vote to win! It costs nothing but increases our visibility. Will you help? ---> 131
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/01/2026Congrats to Mykhailo Fedorov on being appointed as the new Defence Minister by the Ukrainian parliament. I am excited, and I am sure this is a huge challenge for him and hopefully also the system. Wishing Minister Fedorov energy and inspiration for changes. Good luck! 050
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 07/01/2026Some of the 2025 fundraising results by @dzygaspaw.com compared to previous years. Proud of our team and grateful to all the people around the world who support the Ukrainian Defence Forces with us! 060
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 07/09/2025I’m in London for a couple of days. Let me know if you’re here and want to meet :) 050
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 30/08/2025Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine @dmytrokuleba.bsky.social says hello to all of you who support Ukraine! But a special hello to the Dzyga’s Paw community 😉 1186
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025That chance is no longer given to us. Let’s make sure to give it to the next generations. So they can live without war. There’s much work ahead! 050
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025In the past three years, seven people whom I had the honor to call friends have been killed. Most of them — not much older than 25. The war, of course, reveals truth about many things — to a great extent, ourselves. But without it, things would be better. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025The above photo was taken by my husband in Singapore two weeks ago. It’s beautiful, calm, and there is no war. Here, in Ukraine, there is war. And we have to live with it: not despite it, not ignoring it, but with it. 130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025At 22, I went to pursue a Master’s in Paris, the one I wanted. I quit it after three months, along with my job. I raised my first million dollars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At 23, I got married. To that same love. At 24, he made the decision to join the Armed Forces. And now: 25. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025At 16, I first really felt the war — when I lost my close one. At 17, despite all the heavy grief, I entered the university of my dreams. At 18, I met the love of my life. At 20, I graduated. At 21, I worked at a job I loved and earned twice as much as I do now. Travelled. Enjoyed life. 130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025Overall, I think I’m doing well. I’m alive and healthy. I have a wonderful family and incredible friends. I’m honest with myself. I love what I do every day. Of course, the war slows many things down and destroys a lot. Still, much is changing and unfolding in a special way given the circumstances. 140
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 19/08/2025A few days ago, I turned 25. One of the first thoughts that came to me was: wow, just three more years, and half of my life (the conscious half) will have been lived during the war. Probably not the best thought to have. But it means a lot. 1110
Reposted by Iryna ZhluktenkoJoni Askola @joniaskola.bsky.social · 26/07/2025Look at the amazing people I randomly ran into on the street! Small world! @ippvch.bsky.social @dim0kq.bsky.social 3857
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Summary? 1) Thank you for supporting Ukraine 2) Fundraising brings responsibility 3) Reporting requires systematic work 4) Donate to trusted charities 5) Love. Honesty. Freedom. 0223
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025The best part is receiving messages from soldiers saying some piece of equipment literally saved their lives. 1141
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Honestly, I love the work I do every day. I enjoy making improvements and seeing the results. It can be stressful and difficult at times (like today, it’s 9 PM, and I’m writing this from our office). But it’s inspiring because I can see the impact of our work. 1120
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025The remaining 20% consisted of Secret Santa project gifts and other small parcels sent to trusted military personnel. If we compare the financial value of the unit deliveries to individual soldier deliveries, the ratio is 96 to 4 :) 1130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025We constantly increase the share of large systematic projects and shipments sent to military units in bulk rather than to individual soldiers. So far in 2025, 80% of our shipments have been officially transferred to the military units' accounts with all supporting paperwork. 1120
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025We track contents, costs and require a photo report from the soldiers for each shipment. We do not manage to publish every photo, but delivery reports are live on our website with details about the units, types of equipment, quantities, and total value. 1111
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025The same principles apply to delivery reporting. Since the start of 2023, we have kept a record of every shipment we made, from small packages with flashlights and candies to large parcels with NVGs and drones. 1120
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025We do not display it publicly for obvious reasons — namely, the security of our suppliers, and blurring all the details would require another person working here to do specifically that. A screenshot of our internal reporting system, developed by our volunteers for our needs attached. 1130
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Our internal policies require every transaction to have an invoice/receipt attached. So, what you see online is only part of the reports. The other part is scanning all the papers and securely storing them online. 1120
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Although our system is as automated as possible — automatically pulling financial data from four different sources — all the incoming and outgoing transactions arrive in our system raw. We manually edit the transactions so you can easily view our live reporting on the website in English. 1120
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025We dedicate a significant amount of time to reporting. Those who have ever tried to do it know how time-consuming it is. We spend hours each week validating suppliers to ensure deals are safe, preparing all the paperwork to comply with the law, and processing transactions. 1141
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025Again, because I have a degree in Systems Analysis and worked as a data scientist and analyst, I am very focused on structuring everything. Our team and volunteers often joke about it, and I love it. That's why I was able to pull up the data for the table shown in the previous tweet so quickly ;) 1131
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025We started operating as a nonprofit in July'22. Over three years, we continually improve, refine our processes, introduce policies and safety measures, and enhance creativity. What is the result of this? Despite all the politics and the global decline in focus on Ukraine, we are growing. 1160
Iryna Zhluktenko @ippvch.bsky.social · 14/07/2025First, because we help save lives and remove occupiers more effectively. Second, because every day I feel the love and support from people worldwide. Third, because I truly believe we create value: at Dzyga’s Paw, we reach audiences who might never have donated to Ukraine if not via our charity. 1131
