One of the best reasons to try and understand hegel is so you can then drown out scientists with word salad of your own. 😇 /j

I should be able to call annoying people End of Evangelion Shinji coded when I want but at they would find something wrong with that to justify why they can't try and get better and glorifying their suffering.

Hospitals are always cause all sorts of strage subliminal feelings for me. When one is in a normal social institution one is surrounded by human authority and structures and with a graveyard for example it's the opposite:

One of the big problems in the story i've been trying to outline for years now is that i want what is in a sense the main character not to be a POV for the vast majority and in fact be highly mysterious throughout much of the story and only seen in small snippets by other characters who are

It's so painfully beautiful when Hegel describes how he thinks modern citizens can recognize the rational role they play in their state and it's world historical telos. Like no bitch, i may believe in a world historical telos too but i'm clearly not a part of it, i'm utterly pointless.

With LLMs and robots becoming ever more prevelant i think one of the interesting questions certainly is how well they'll be able to replace humans in service roles. How fulfilled can people be if they only really socialize with LLMs in a decade or two?

It's genuinely funny with how little use value creating i've gotten away with in my life. If my life were a video game i'm sure there'd be an achievement for it.

It's so funny what's booming in different parts of the world because of the ai boom rn. Not surprising at all, but i wonder how chinese companies react when their exports get cut by the bubble bursting. I wouldn't expect it to be super dramatic tbh, a lot of them arescarily porfitable rn anyway.

I think that queer people should do their best to reject categorization by labels that are deemed natural. The use of born this way has been harmful and I think a lot of care should be used separating queer people out based on some past state that for its perceived naturalness.

A lot of parents need to get it though their heads that a child is not their possession or play thing but an actual person and if that person is to grow up they need to be shown some trust. Kids will never be able to leave their parents shadow if kids are not allowed to take the smallest risks.
