Every time I went to the doctor, they pointed to my weight as an excuse to avoid giving me proper treatment. So, to teach them a lesson, I lost 10kg in three months, so they couldn't use that excuse anymore. Unfortunately, most of my ailments have now gone away.

The best thing about #MakingTaxDigital is that it does absolutely nothing, for business owners, to simplify the process of actually paying tax. Employers PAYE is so ridiculously convoluted that it's more convenient to wait for HMRC to pass it to a debt collection agency, so I can pay them instead.
