System76 built Pop!_OS for “creators.” Of course, when tech people say “creators,” they generally mean developers. However, this distribution’s appeal to creators goes well beyond devs. I’m a writer, and I use Pop!_OS regularly.

The important thing to understand is that you can download one of two versions of the OS: one for AMD GPUs and one for Nvidia GPUs. When using AI (especially local AI), the best route is via an Nvidia GPU. Most AI systems are built specifically for AMD hardware. If you don’t have an Nvidia GPU, your AI will run in CPU mode, which is exponentially slower.

Clean (Fill) w/ medium sharpness is about what I expect size wise @1080p upscaling, seems about as clean as most N64 HDMI mods I've seen Debur + 32bit color (auto) defiantly a bit more crisp than my retr*t*nk 2X MINI, but a bit marginal depending on display scaling, still n64 games afterall

1080p scanline modes a bit more letterboxed than I'd prefer but it's kinda to be expected because it needs the integer scale integer+ is a tad too zoomed in for my liking, but again inherent to 1080p alignment I imagine
