Landmesser had run afoul of the Nazi Party over his unlawful relationship with Irma Eckler, a Jewish woman. For this, he was imprisoned and eventually drafted into penal military service, where he was killed in action.

My degree is in Aquacultural Engineering, and the only viable forms of commercial fish farming are based on land, where waste management is much easier. Off-shore mariculture looks promising, but for now at least, it's expensive, because of the wear and tear, and materials cost.

When I was a kid, I disassembled my dad's hand-powered golf cart and turned it into a boat trailer. I loaded the 10 foot Jon Boat onto it and pulled it 3 miles to Old Town Pond behind my bike. Dad was simultaneously pissed I'd used his cart, but also impressed and proud of my ingenuity.
