To me, it would be a better stance to be like, "We know the outside world sucks, so thanks for taking your time to be with us".

I agree that taking no stance is a stance. I don't think they're outright ignoring the outside world but it's not a good look to be like "just ignore the outside for a bit and come in here with us. It's safe".

I would imagine being outspoken can and does cause friction between band members. It's a job for them at this point and they're trying to keep their jobs.

People like this want things to go back to normal or at least appear normal so they can feel comfortable.

However, my alternative look is that a large percentage of people these days have expressed that they don't like it when artists are overly political. I think what they're really all just saying is that they're getting tired of the polarization.

However, I'm fairly certain that James leans on the conservative side of things. I'm unsure of how this relates to why he said what he said. Most likely, he doesn't agree with what others have said recently.

Each member seems to have a different stance on politics, and I think that's okay. They seem to support a lot of good causes and that's great.

I'm certainly conflicted on the Metallica thing. I love Metallica, and being politically outspoken is not something they've been for a long time. If ever. Sure, they've had songs that touched on political topics, but the band does seem to go a certain way.

Overall, great game. I think they nailed the look as well as they could've. It's honestly a really cool looking game with absolutely perfect pixel art. Overall an 8/10 for me.

I really didn't dig into much of the other weapons. I just used the dual blade thing. It worked out pretty well. Literally, my only gripe was that doing the burrowing thing took a bit too long. It made it difficult to dodge. I think there was a trinket you could use to speed it up.

They're very bare. Mina fixed that. I don't know if I found exploration as satisfying. There were some frustrating points in the game near the end although, I thought that the boss fights and different sections worked out well.

Finished Mina the Hollower. Definitely in the same league as the amazing Pipistrello. This game did a few things that I really really liked. For instance, in so many Zelda like games, you'll have a town. In that town, you have a store or two, a few people you can visit and that's it.

Forza Horizon 6 is sort of the perfect culmination of all sorts of crazy Forza shit. While it's been the same game for how many years now, it's the best one yet. Literally, my only gripe is that I can't just go into a playlist, select a race and start it from the menu. You have to fast travel.

I'm trying Mina next, which I think I'll like a lot more. We'll see though!

I finished Adventures of Elliot tonight. It was pretty decent. I'll try any Zelda like game. What I liked was the combat and honestly the ability to dash everywhere. That was neat. I didn't care for the repetitive worlds and honestly the puzzles. The Switch 2 version is also not pretty. 7/10.

I don't care of the specifics of ownership and all of that. I just want to have the option to sell a game when I'm done with it. If they came up with a digital version of that, I'd be super into the idea. A digital marketplace built into PSN that allows me to sell a game that I don't want anymore.

I wholly agree. My PS5 only exists to play some exclusives, which I buy on a physical disc. I honestly hate this idea. Hate it. The only thing that was keeping me with a console vs a PC was the physical discs. That's it. I love my Switch and hopefully Nintendo keeps the physical game thing going.

There Is No Reason To Buy Another PlayStation Or Xbox

Increasingly poor decisions are making it impossible to want or get a next-gen console.

For real. I've tried a few gacha games. I always hear that WuWa is fun and has a cool story. The second I get into it, I try to jump and I'm like, oh jank. Maybe I'm too quick to judge.

Anyways, I was listening to 72 seasons today and thought they could’ve done better but maybe they just don’t feel like putting out their absolute best. It’s a bummer but whatever.

Let’s take Judas Kiss from dm for example. The song has a lot of cool riffs but the “bow down” riff is ultra classic Metallica. Probably because of the 5-7-8 power chords. The rest of the song is still good but not a classic to me.

72 seasons is a cool album in chunks. Like most “modern” Metallica tracks, these songs always have cool parts but the songs as a whole are not cohesive.

The customer smiles confidently, unaware of how ridiculous he looks. The cashier leans forward, annoyed and uncomfortable, silently judging the fake trade-in. Bright, animated lighting and bold colors.

A cartoon-style comedy video set in a colorful GameStop. A goofy customer walks up holding a large shiny toaster like it’s a next-gen console, trying to trade it in. The GameStop cashier squints, eyebrows furrowed, clearly irritated. His cheeks puff slightly as he tries to hold in a fart,
