following up my child posting with the admission that having these two kids has led to the most crushing isolation (and depression) of my life. no time or means for anything that doesn't resolve around them. Even my relationship with my wife is strained. I sure hope it magically gets better!

Really feeling the difficulty in doing fun things mid-dadhood with friends in gamer circles. Most of them have more free time and play games that require time investment. I could hop into one of three VCs where everyone is playing Deadlock every day. My ass would play like shit.

Taking a break from running TTRPG games has given me mixed feelings. I love playing them, but I put too much of myself into prepping and I have limited time. But minimal prep feels like a disservice to the players, and I have a lot less fun. Having a hard time convincing myself to run games again.

Brainstorming my next campaign for whenever NetBattlers is finished. That probably won't be for a while, so I have time to shop for a good system. I want to run a game about MMO players, both in/outside the game. The main systems I've found a good fit are .dungeon//remastered and Infinity's Edge.
